Curiousity Makes Miko's Blush

Some people may reconize part of this story. The first part was from a ebony_silks challenge from a while back. I hope you enjoy.

It had been a hard two weeks for the InuTachi. They along with Sesshomaru, who had just recently joined their merry band, had been hot on Naraku's trail. The villages they had passed through had been extremely helpful in leading them to his newest place of hiding when suddenly he had just...disappeared.

    No trail, no rumors. Nothing.

  So it had been decided to stop, get some rest and just wait. They figured he was on to them and would rear his ugly head soon enough.

  InuYasha and Sesshomaru had found a good clearing in a forest to camp. The was plenty of game, a stream for water and best of all, a hot spring, large enough to hold all if they so chose to bathe together.

  Which was what Miroku had suggested but a skull cracking thump from Sango's Hirakusu had quickly changed his mind. The perverted baka!

   After dinner Sango and Kagome had decided that a night of self indulgent pampering was in order. So Kagome was digging in her backpack pulling out all her delicately scented soap, bubble bath, lotion and oil, happy for a night of a little relaxation. 

   As she pulled out her towels, a small disc fell from the bag, rolling unnoticed across the ground coming to rest against an elegant black booted foot.

  A clawed hand reached out and picked it up, examining it with curiosity.

  "Miko" he said holding out his hand the gold colored disc laying on his palm. "I believe you dropped something."

  Kagome glanced over, her eyes widening in horror at what lay there. 

  As a joke, Eri and Ayumi had given her a condom in a aluminum package that made it look like a small gold coin.

 Sesshomaru noticed the young woman's sudden discomfiture and the sudden flushing of her fair cheeks.

He smirked mentally. Whatever he held in his clawed hands had the makings of great amount of teasing of the Miko.

 He liked the young woman. He respected her deeply and if truth be known, wouldn't even mind a good rut with her. But she belonged to his baka half-brother and he didn't poach on another's lands.

However, it wouldn’t stop him from teasing her. And apparently he had fodder enough in his claws to stain her face, neck and breasts a deep rose.

 Yes, the revelation of what this little item was, would be very good.

  "If you would be so kind, Miko, would you explain what I am holding?"

 Oh yes, this would be very good.

Kagome stared the Demon Lord embarrassment flushing her face a deep rose. Of all the people to find that condom it had to be him, he who wanted answers to anything strange or unusual from her era.

 Oh, when she got back home she was going to kill Eri and the girls for putting that in her bag.

  "Miko," Sesshomaru's black velvet voice interrupted her panicked thoughts. "Is it some type of coinage from your time?"

 The young woman gulped. "Um..no.  It is a package. It has something inside."

 A silver eyebrow lifted, inquiringly. "What could something so small contain?"

  Kagome took a deep breath. 

 "Inside is a device that prevents pregnancy." She chanced a glance at his face, hoping that this would put an end to his questions.

 "Explain." he said, as only Sesshomaru could. Imperiously.

  Crap. No such luck.

  She sighed, her blush only deepening further. "Uh...when a man and woman in my time wish to..um..mate, if they do not wish to create a child the male wears the device inside on his....

  "LORD SESSHOMARU! KAGOME! Rin found a butterfly she had never seen before!" shouted the little girl as she ran into camp, hands cupped around her treasure.

 "Rin! I am so happy to see you! Oh if you only knew how happy I am to see you!" Kagome babbled

. "Sesshomaru-sama, we will continue this at a later date as it isn't a proper conversation for a young girl such as Rin to hear."

 Kagome quickly picked up her bathing items and grabbed Rin by the wrist. "Come along, Rin! Let's go show Sango your butterfly!" 

And practically ran out of the campsite, the little girl bouncing happily beside her.

  Amused golden eyes followed the pair as they hurriedly headed towards the hot spring. From what the young woman had told him, he had a pretty good idea what it was in his hand. He tucked it into his sash, making sure it was secure. 

  "Yes, run away now, little Miko. There will be other days for my questions," he thought with an evil mental chuckle. "And we will see if we can make your enchanting blush darken further... and farther."

He's such a naughty Inu!!
