The Predator

He glanced up at his prey to find it breathless and its eyes wild.  He had known that he had pushed his prey to the ends of it's strength, yet he demanded more from it and he would find satisfaction.  He would not stop until the fire that was pulsing through his veins was extinguished and the only way that was going to happen was for another go with his prey.

He crouched down and slowly approached his prey and paused when wary eyes glared up at him in defiance.  Oh, so there is still some fighting spirit left within his target.  That was perfectly fine with him.  He was more than up for a battle, though his prey looked less than able to take him on completely. 

But, since he was a fair sport, he would allow the feeble attempt to fight him, and then, he would pounce and he would win.  He would proclaim victory over and over again and, by the time he was done, he would ensure that all whom were near would know that he had, once again, proven his status as a youkai to be feared.

He continued his approach and bared his fangs at the one before him and then gave a vicious growl.  He would not let this go.  This was his victory and he would not allow anyone to take it away from him.  From the way his prey was watching him, he could tell that it was carefully trying to figure out a way to escape him, but escape would not happen.  The inevitable would happen, he would succeed, and he would ensure that his prey learned the lesson of not trying to fight him.  Once he was done, his prey would be left in a puddle of its own, and his, fluids.

His approach was silent and he could smell the familiar scent that was now coating his prey’s skin.  With a predatory smile, he drew nearer to the prey and crouched down in preparation of pouncing.  Oh, yes.  Victory was well within his reach.

“Oh, for crying out loud, Sesshomaru!”  Kagome exclaimed, exasperated.  “You can’t be ready to go again.  We’ve been at this for hours and you are still horny?”

Sesshomaru straightened up from his crouch and quirked up an eyebrow.  “This Sesshomaru is not tired nor is he completely satisfied.”  He replied and was silently impressed at the throaty growl his human mate gave him.  For a human, she was quite good at sounding like an inu bitch.

“Sesshomaru, I have been up since the butt-crack of dawn and I am tired.”  Kagome snapped, her patience with her beloved mate quickly fading.  “I want to go to sleep and I can’t because you are acting like a child who has had a taste of something good and now wants it all the time.  Now lie down and go to sleep!  You’ll get it again tomorrow.”

As he watched his beloved mate lay down, he fought the urge to show off his negotiation skills and decided to simply let her have her way.  Glancing out his window, Sesshomaru caught sight of the moon and quickly surmised that it was probably close to midnight.  He would give his little miko an hour to rest up because she promised that he would get it tomorrow and in less than an hour, it really would be the next day.

Oh, he could already taste his victory.
