About this piece:  A number of reviewers asked me to put a blurb in here explaining what prompt this piece was written for. On the night of December 30, 2009, those who were present in the Dokuga live chat at the time participated in an impromptu (No pun intended!) Prompt night.  I believe there were eight prompts in total.  Anyway!  This was the 100 word prompt for the word. "Fortune."  Enjoy!

She truly hadn’t thought he’d been listening or watching as she rambled about the little toys she was folding while they sat by the river the night before.

“My friends used to believe they could really tell our fortune! Yuuka used to predict that I would marry a movie star…”  She had laughed as he silently held her.

 The tiny craft she now held in her hand spoke otherwise. Smiling, she lifted up a flap and gasped.

“This Sesshomaru hopes your friends were incorrect with their assumptions, little Miko…”

 Kagome turned and embraced the taiyoukai. “I would take you over a movie star any day.”

Author's End Note:  I am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED at the amount of reviews this piece has gotten!  And I am EXTREMELY THANKFUL for all of them.  But if someone could enlighten me, I am curious to know how this piece began getting so many reviews almost 2 months after it was written!
