Change in Power

It was the happiest day in so many years. Naraku had been overthrown as the ruler of Japan and Sesshomaru, former Lord of the Western lands, and Kagome, former Lady of the Western Lands and Shikon Miko, had been two of the few left standing after they decided to rebel against him.

Many had died in the conflict, including Sango and Miroku, their most trusted retainers, and Inuyasha, former Prince of the Western Lands. They defended the two of them to the death after Kikyo, Naraku’s mate, Dark Shikon Miko and former ruler of Japan, shot them down with arrows infused with dark miko energy.

They were celebrated as heroes of the Revolution and were given honorable burials. They took great strides into dismantling everything Naraku and Kikyo built during their reign.

After many years of establishing their rule, Sesshomaru and Kagome were expecting several pups and new heirs to the Japanese throne. Yes, this was a change for the better.
