Prologue

UREGENT READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok before we stared the story you need to read this ok here it goes, first a massively huge thank to Jappa who help me to pluck up the courage to get an account and she helped me write this story so yay for Jappa and for you peoples who are wondering I do know Jappa in person and yes she is my one of my best friends. She is also the beta writer. The second thing is that there are a couple of thing you need to know, one Miroku is an inu demon, the second thing is that Kagome and Sango are wolf demons like Kouga ok and if I have forgotten and thing I will mention it at some point in another chapter. Oh and sorry for my bad spelling and grammar ok here we go.

Kagome POV

“Kouga where are you taking us?” I asked.

“Yeah Kouga tell us pleaseeeeeeeee?” my little sister, Cherry, said.

“I already told you that where I am taking you it is a surprise and....” Kouga said learning down too whisper in our ears he whispered

 “ If I told you it wouldn’t be surprised” he said in a matter of factly “ Kougaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” Cherry and I wined

“tell us pleaseeeeee” we said making our best puppy dog eyes

“let me think...” Kouga said “No” he said playfully

“Kougaaaaa” we wined again suddenly Kouga sniffed the air and he face turned serious and he growled

“Kouga” I said when he didn’t responded I said

“Brother?” when I said that He looked at me and side

“the mutts coming.” ‘The mutt I thought’

“Kagome” Kouga said to me

“y-y-yes?” I asked terrified

“take Cherry and get into the trees and back to the cave I hold him off.”

I gave him a small nod and grabbed my little sister, who was 2 in human years, and jumped into the trees but before I could make a get away there was the sound of metal against metal and as soon as I heard that sound all of us, even little Cherry, knew that there was no escape now unless Kouga killed the ‘mutt’ as Kouga called him there was no chance of escape because the ‘mutt’ would follow them to the den so I sat down holding Cherry trying to stop her from crying as we watch our brother fight.

Sesshomaru POV

As I was walking through the forest looking for the wolf demon tribe den I caught the smell of that pathetic wolf demon prince and the scent of the young princesses I growled happily and said to myself.

“nice imagine taking out half of the role family in one single day well I am ‘bout to do that”

With that thought in his head he charged in to that clearing. The first thing he saw was that only Kouga was there, so with that he knew that they little brats were properly ether running back to that den or were hiding somewhere but right now that didn’t matter he could take care of them later right now his priority was killing the pathetic excuse for a demon that was standing in front of him.

“to hell with you mutt” the prince of the wolf demon tribe said in reply I just growled and pounced.

He blocked my attack but only just, the stupid idiot, then tried, he actually tried to attack me I easily dogged and then ran my sword through his stomach and then pulled it out as slowly as I could. I watch as his body crumpled to the ground I then turned my head up to smell out the little brats and I didn’t have to wait long I could smell their fear and sorrow I walked up to the tree and jumped.

 I saw a little blur jumped down from the tree as I jumped up I looked down to where the stupid demon the was lying dead and saw the little brats next to his body the little brats smelled of sorrow.

‘Well’ I thought to myself ‘why don’t I put an end to their misery’ with that I quickly struck down the youngest as she fell I heard that last royal child scream.

“CHERRY!!!!!”

Kagome POV

As I watch the short 5 second fight I held Cherry close and as soon as I saw my brother run through by the mutt

‘you know what’ I thought,

‘now I see why Kouga called him a mutt because that is what he is from now on all Inu demon are mutts’

‘That we were done for we were going to be kill by that mangy mutt....I just made my brothers nickname for them two times as cool.’ so I thought

‘why not die next to your falling brother’

So with that I jumped out of the tree and went to our fallen brother and I put my arms around his neck and put his head in my lap Cherry followed suite and hugged Kouga legs as she had done when they went out for walks on many occasions. I bowed my head and felt no fear because why should you feel fear of something that is inevitable (which means non avoidable like death) so with that I felt glad because soon I will be with my beloved brother once more.

Except, when he struck Cherry down I couldn’t help but call out her name.

“CHERRY!!!!!” I screamed out of pure instinct and as the stupid half-witted mangy mutt (ohhhh four times better) approached me I bowed my head.

Then I felt the searing pain as his claws ripped through my simple silk kimono from my top of left shoulder to my right hip and the bottom of the back of my right shoulder blade to the front of my wrist. I fell back in pain and was expecting he the run a blade through my stomach to finish my off but he didn’t, instead I watch him walk away.

When I tried to get up my wounds started to spill blood then I realised why he had left me, In my wounds he had injected poison to make sure that my wounds would never close up properly but any movement would cause them to open right back up. I was guessing that the plan was that I bled to death but I was smarter than that. So I kept still and then I howled, signalising that I found some of our pack dead. Someone would hear it and come to take that bodies away for burying, which meant someone would find me and we could find away to deal with these wounds.

Sesshomaru POV

He looked at the two little brats huddled next to their pitiful brother. He had been surprised though, because when he was just about the kill the littlest one, she smelt...HAPPY???? Why she was happy- wait a minute, why did he care? She was just a stupid wolf demon.

Then he turned on to, what he was guessing, was the middle pup. With that thought he filled his claws with poison and scratched her not caring where the wounds went nor how deep the wounds were. All he cared about was that he had actually hit that stupid little brat because if he had she would die within the hour because either the poison had stopped that wounds from healing and she had bled to death or that the poison stopped her heart. As long as she was dead he really didn’t care and with that he walked away, once again looking for that entrance to the wolf demon tribes den.

About 5 minutes later he heard the howl and he knew that the wolfs had found some fallen comrades and would soon come to collect the bodies.

So with that he thought that he had killed the last of the royal pups, later aka 100 years later he found out how wrong he was.
