Let's Play A Game

Disclaimer: I own not the Inuyasha characters. I just like to torture them and put them in awkward situations. I do, however, own this idea and plot.

Kagome sat in a large study surrounded by books. In the center of the shelves of books was a desk that was covered in papers and a laptop. A man with long silver hair and golden eyes typed at the laptop furiously.

“Hey Sesshoumaru,” Kagome said. A grunt was her reply. “What are you doing?”

“Work,” Sesshoumaru said shortly.

Kagome looked at him for a few more seconds before turning her blue gaze away from him and back to her book.

A new thought occurred to her suddenly. “What do you do?” She asked him.

Sesshoumaru closed his golden eyes for a few moments and opened them to look at her. He answered, “I run a business.”

“But what does your business do?” Kagome pushed him.

Sesshoumaru looked at her questioningly and seemed to think for a few moments. He furrowed his brow.

“I am unsure,” he told her. “I never quite thought about it until now. I only handle meetings, even though I am the CEO. I have Inuyasha do everything else for me.”

Kagome chewed on her bottom lip. She turned away again and read her book. Sesshoumaru went back to typing.

Without looking up from her book, Kagome said, “I have an idea.”

Sesshoumaru sighed and shut his laptop. “What is this idea?” He asked exahperatedly.

“Since you don’t know what your job is, I want to set you up with some,” Kagome told him. She shut her own book quietly.

He looked at her expectantly. “Like?”

“I don’t know. I think it should be a surprise,” Kagome said. “Like a game. A dare game.”

Sesshoumaru leaned his head back. He knew this would be a bad idea, but her decided to play along. “And how are we going to play this game, Kagome?”

Kagome smiled. “Every day for the next three weeks, you are going to have a new job,” she explained. “I am going to choose, and it is going to be a surprise. So you won’t know what you will do. Doesn’t that sound like fun?”

“Okay, little one,” Sesshoumaru said. “Let’s play.”

A/N: Alright. This is going to be fun. I have been wanting to write this forever, but I didn't until now because I was too busy and didn't know how to get started. So, are you all ready to play?

Here's how it's going to work. I am going to put up a poll of about 4 or 5 different jobs Sesshoumaru can do. You can also create your own for the next poll, but please choose from the poll itself. When I have enough votes, I will pick the one withh the highest and that will be the job he'll do for the next chapter.
