A Day In The Life Of Kagome Higurashi: Nerd Extraordinaire

Kagome Higurashi was just a normal girl. Just a normal, boring, geeky girl who had a knack for being clumsy, finding trouble, and having no social life whatsoever.

She was kind of chubby, with long mid-back length scraggly hair, sapphire blue eyes hidden behind round, thick rimmed glasses, and a chubby no-so-cute face with was constantly enflamed with red.

As she climed out of the bed, she walked into her bathroom, switching on her radio. 'Ah, my theme song.' She thought as she hummed along to Weezer's "Beverly Hills".

"Where I come from isn't all that great,

My automobile is a piece of crap,

My fashion sense is a little wack,

And my friends are just a screwy as me"

"Ain't that the truth..." Kagome murmered as she pulled on her clothes and shoes after brushing her hair.

"Never went to boarding school,

Preppy girls never looked at me

Why should they?

Got nothin' in my pocket"

"Beverly Hills,

Kagome's clear voice rang out through her room. She then switched off the radio after the song ended and walked out of her room.

"Mom! I'm going to school!"

"Ok, hun. See ya later." Kaori Higurashi replied.

"Bye, sis!"

"Bye, Souta, Bye Ji-chan!"

"Hey, Kagome!" Her best friend Sango called. She had long bottock length brown hair and chocolate eyes with a slightly curvy body that was a little lumpy due her her slight chubbiness.

"Hey, San-chan!" Kagome called back as they walked through the hallway accidentaly bumping into The Preps.

The Preps are the most popular girls in school. They're the richest, the hottest, the sluttiest, and the most available. Even if they have a boyfriend. The Preps consist of Kikyou Kuro, Kagura Kuro, Kanna Kuro, Tsubaki Kuro, and Jakotsu Bane (A/N: Yes Jakotsu is a boy but he is a prep and there are homosexuals at the school. Also his name is pronouced Ba -Ne not Bane.).

"Watch it whore!" Kagura said rudely, pushing Kagome away with a scruched face, acting like Kagome had the plauge.

"Your the whore Kagura! I'm surprised your fucking pussy hasn't fallen off yet!" Sango retorted angrily.

"Bitch! You and your fucking fat friend need to get out of our way." Kikyou said glaring at them.

"Fine." Kagome said lowering her head and bending down to pick up her books. 'God I hate them.' she thought miserably, she hated being called fat.

"Thought so. You and you fucking off-brand fat overwieght friends need to go drink some slim fast or something and get the fuck out of our way."

"Yo bitches! Why don't ya'll skinny, no ass, no titty, no brain fuckers leave them alone before I go back to my roots and break my foot off in ya'll no-carb-diet asses!" A girl said from behind them.

She was tall, about 5'8'' with brown skin, black hair tipped in ice blue and ice blue mettalic eyes. Her name was Eve. She was one of the nicer Populars who usually hung out with the Hotties. The Hotties were just that. Abosulte hotties. There was Sesshoumaru Tashio, the leader and his half-brother Inu Yasha Tashio. Their golden/amber eyes and long silver hair could make any girl swoon. Especially Kagome. The rest of the group was Miroku Hakeda, Bankotsu Bane,and Kouga Nokeda.

"Hmph. Just like you to be stickin up for the NERDS." Jakotsu said folding his arms.

"Yep and if you got a problem with it then come with it, sweetness." Eve said folding her arms.

"WHATEVER!" They all courused before walking away.

Eve rolled her eyes and bent down to help the girls, apologizing to Kagome and Sango in the process.

"Don't worry about it. I'm used to it. They're always talking about how "fat" I am, when really, I'm not fat at all, I'm just not perfect, you know." Kagome reasoned.

"Aw, don't worry about those jerk offs. They're so scared of gaining wieght they drink diet water." Eve said standing.

"Thanks Eve." Sango said.

"No prob. See ya'll later." Eve said walking away.

"Well, there goes my good morning." Kagome stated as Sango nodded in agreement.

And such is the life of Kagome Higurashi. Pathetic, ne? Well it seems life is about to get more interesting for our chubby little heroine. But ya gotta wait till the next chappie!
