Day at the beach

Kagome woke up to Inuyasha in her face smiling. "Kagome guess what, I made breakfast." He said happily, Kagome was upset since he didn't have a hangover like she first planned then again she didn't want to deal with a pissed off Inuyasha.

"I think I'll go without eating then thank you very much." Kagome saw how Inuyasha eats he prefers things with a lot of sugar even if it was breakfast.

"Don't worry my dad taught me how to cook last year." Inuyasha said as he pulled Kagome of the couch and carried her to the kitchen.

"Inuyasha stop picking me up." Kagome said as Inuyasha flopped her on a kitchen chair. She was surprised to see pancakes, sausage, bacon and no sugar. But what surprised her most was the way it tasted. "Wow, Inu this is great, and I thought you loaded everything down with sugar." Kagome said but when she looked over she saw Inuyasha pouring almost the whole bottle of syrup on his pancakes.

"I do but you and Sesshy don't like sugar in the morning. Hey there is chocolate milk in the fridge can you get it?" Inuyasha said as he took a giant bite of pancake. Kagome stood up and walked into the kitchen to see Sesshomaru in there.

"Did Inuyasha really cook this?" Kagome asked as she took the chocolate milk out o the fridge and grabbed two cups.

"Yes but he can't make coffee and since my father will be here soon, it is my job to make it." Sesshomaru said looking straight into Kagome's eyes.

"Oh do you want a glass of - wait your fathers going to be home soon. I have got to get out of here." Kagome said as she poured the milk.

"To late my dear Kagome." A man said behind the small Miko. Kagome turned around slowly to see an older version of Sesshomaru.

"Hi Toga." Kagome said with a sigh. Toga Taisho was totally fixated on one of his sons being married to Kagome and had no plan on letting that dream go.

"Are you here to marry one of my sons?" He asked happily. Kagome shoke her head and he frowned that's when Inuyasha made his entrance.

"Hey dad can you take us to the beach today?" Inuyasha asked as he drank the glass of milk Kagome left sitting on the table. Toga looked like he was thinking before he nodded and smiled. Inuyasha pushed Kagome towards his room so she could get dressed. Everyone got dressed into their bathing suits besides Kagome who didn't have hers on her.

"Kagome you can't where that."Inuyasha said as he came crashing into the living room.

"I know Inuyasha I was hoping we could stop by house and get mine." Kagome said looking over at Toga who was actually calm as he watched SpongeBob Squarepants.

"No were going to go to the Mall to get you one." He said as Patrick was hit on the head with a coconut.

"Why when you have to drive by my house to get to the mall." Kagome complained.

"Lier."

"My house."

"Mall."

"House."

"Mall."

"House."

"Your attempts to try and win have failed, to the mall." Toga said in his best Dark Vader voice. Kagome stopped trying with a sigh knowing that she couldn't talk Toga out of his idiotic plan to buy her a bathing suit. What she didn't like even more was the kind of bathing suit he bought for her. It was a baby blue bikini with clouds on it. Kagome never once in her life wore a bikini but when it came to shopping with the Taishos you learn not to object because they will buy it anyway.

Inuyasha was so excited to be going to the beach that he made Kagome change in the bathroom of the mall to make the time shorter. Kagome put her pants and Kouga's jacket over her bathing suit but that didn't stop her perfectly flat stomach from being exposed. Kagome got a lot of lustful stares when she came out of the bathroom, much to Sesshomaru's displeasure.

----------------Skip to when they finally get to the beach-----------------

"Inuyasha stop carrying me." Kagome yelled as she pounded on Inuyashas bare back. Once they got of the truck Inuyasha threw Kagome over his shoulder and ran for the beach. When he didn't move her she said sorry then burnt a little of his back with her miko powers. Inuyasha yelped and threw Kagome onto her back as he rubbed his back.

"You'll get over it Inuyasha." Sesshomaru said as he smacked the same spot that Kagome had purified him.

"Shut up I don't see her purifying you." Inuyasha said as Kagome shimmed out of her pants and Kouga's jacket.

"Yes, she has purified all of us once or twice." Toga pretended to start crying. "Why is she so evil?" Kagome punched his arm then ran away as he started to chase her. Inuyasha joined in soon after and the three of them were running through groups of people laughing and falling. Kagome was finally caught when she ran to the cliff that was around thirty feet above the beach.

Toga threw Kagome into the freezing cold water. When she didn't come up after five minutes the two of them went in after her to find that she was swimming away. That swam after trying to catch her even though she had a seven minute head start. When they were so close to catching her she ran up and hid behind Sesshomaru.

"What are you doing?" Sesshomaru asked as he felt cold water drip on his back.

"I'm hiding so be quiet." Kagome said as she ducked behind him again. When Toga and Inuyasha walked back Kagome thought she was safe and climbed out from behind Sesshomaru.

"So how is your day?" Kagome asked as she sat down.

"Fine."

"You're not having fun so you're lying, lying is bad. Stop lying Sesshomaru it makes people sad."At some point when Kagome was swimming she swallowed too much water and was now extremely hyper.

Sesshomaru didn't respond and just looked forward as people walked in front of the two.

'Ah it's nice to have mate back.' Sesshomarus beast said. 'First off she is not our mate and we are not together.' Sesshomaru responded to his. 'So says you.' With that his beast retreated to the back of his head and went to sleep. What brought him back to current time was an eep coming from his left. Sesshomaru turned to see Inuyasha and Toga carrying Kagome towards the water.

"Wait, I was already in the water why not through Sesshomaru?" Kagome said as she struggled to get away.

"Hmm, throwing Sesshomaru into the water sounds fun." Inuyasha said the Taisho's put Kagome down and the three of them stalked toward Sesshomaru.

Right as they got to him Sesshomaru jumped up and ran. The three quickly started after him laughing and trying to keep balance. When it seemed like they weren't every going to catch Sesshomaru, Toga picked up Kagome and threw her at Sesshomaru. That ended in Kagome talking Sesshomaru when he turned to try and catch her.

"Hey Sesshomaru." Kagome said as she sat on his chest. All of a sudden Sesshomaru started moving into the air. The other two Taisho's had a hold of Sesshomaru's hands in feet.

"Wait I'm not supposed to go into the water to." Kagome said as they reached the end of the sand. Both of them just shrugged and threw the two in the water. Kagome screamed and clutched onto Sesshomaru who just sat there while they were sailing through the air. They hit the water with such force that Kagome was ripped from Sesshomaru.

When they reached the surface of the water Inuyasha and Toga had already joined them. The four started wrestling. Sesshomaru didn't know why he was enjoying something so immature but he would tell no one about it. After Kagome, Sesshomaru, and Inuyasha ganged up on the old inu demon they made their way out of the water, besides Toga wanted pictures. Toga had the tendency to forget simple things like sun block but he never forgot his camera at the beach.

"Okay everyone smile." Toga said to the people in front of him. Inuyasha and Kagome wrapped their arms around each other's waists and Sesshomaru put his hands on both of their heads. The next picture found Kagome on Inuyashas back with bunny ears over Sesshomaru's head and he is glaring at her out of the corner of his eyes with his arms crossed.

"That wasn't too hard was it?" Toga asked. He walked back to the truck and took a large cooler out of the trunk bed. The four of them sat down to a meal of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, nacho Doritos, and wild cherry Capri Sun.

As the sun started to go down Inuyasha and his father started picking up wood for a fire. Kagome had gone back down to the water with the waves crashing against her legs. Sesshomaru was just sitting there watching her and listening to her laughing when the waves pushed her down when the most annoying smell and noise hit him.

"Hello Sesshomaru." A demon with short black hair and red eyes said.

"What do you want Kagura?" Sesshomaru asked his eyes never leaving Kagome. Kagura followed his line of eyesight to Kagome and scowled.

"What is that bitch doing here?" In an instant Sesshomaru had Kagura by throat and in the air.

"You will hold your tongue." Sesshomaru his eyes flashing red. Sesshomaru threw her to the ground and gave a warning growl. Kagura stood up and sent a glare towards Kagome.

"I'll see you later my Sessho." Kagura said before running off. Sesshomaru let off a growl of annoyance. He couldn't stand Kagura; she was a nasty slut and the sister of one of the people he hates the most in the world, Naraku.

"Who was that Maru?" Kagome asked as she walked up to Sesshomaru. He just shoke his head and led her to where his family was making the fire.

------------------------Around 10:00 pm----------------------

"C-a-m-p-f-i-r-e-s-o-n-g song" Toga, Inuyasha, and Kagome sang. They had been at the beach the whole day and where finally calming down. Kagome had slipped her pants and Kouga's jacket on and had cuddled into Inuyasha trying to get warm. They each went through fifteen smores each and about one hundred things of Capri Sun all together.

Kagome slowly drifted to sleep on Inuyashas shoulder.

"Kagome." Kagome looked around at hearing her grandmother's voice. She found her grandmother standing on top of a hill covered in flowers."It's time my dear."The next thing Kagome knew she was in a beautiful white dress and surrounded by people. She started walking down a carpet before she saw Sesshomaru at the end of the carpet, smirking at her. She got to the end and smiled at him they leaned in and kissed but when she leaned back it wasn't Sesshomaru, it was Kouga.

Kagome turned around looking for Sesshomaru but only turned into a house. Before she knew it she saw Kouga walking through the door and kissing her on her forehead. She thought she saw Sesshomaru in the corner of her and as she turned around she saw him kissing Kagura and they had two children that looked just like them circling them singing ring around the rosy. Sesshomaru pulled away and downright smiled at her.

Kagome woke up to see she was being held by Sesshomaru in the truck.

"What happened?" Kagome asked.

"You fell to sleep and we didn't want to wake you. Go back to sleep it'll be a while to we get to your house, the others wanted to go to sheetz and they are inside right now." Sesshomaru said looking down at the miko. Kagome nodded and went to sleep with her head in Sesshomaru's lap. Sesshomaru ran his head through Kagome's hair a couple of times before falling to sleep himself.

If Kagome had a chance to write her 'dairy' it would have said this:

Dear Diary,

I spent the day on the beach with Inu, Toga, and Sesshomaru. It was great and I think I actually might be falling for Sesshomaru, again. I can't go through that again not until I'm ready. But when will that be? Help?

Yours forever until I die tonight,

Kagome Higurashi

Then she would have sent it to Ayame and Sango.
