Half breed . That pathetic excuse of life out here with that rotting corpse of a whore. I was merely doing my rounds and checking the borders of my lands and I smell that half inbred bastard of a brother. I remember after Naraku's death he pledged his love only for that miko I have been watching... guarding her from the amount of pain my brother would bring her. 'Hn...this Sesshomaru did not think that one would even acknowledge him to even be a relative.' I growled and poised myself upon the top of the tree to smell the night air for Inuyasha's indecency. 'The smell of lust rises in the air... the smell of DEAD CLAY and that half breed's scent...'

I rushed towards the southwest corner of my domain and hovered close to where he was rutting with that disgusting manikin whom I thought had died. His grunts were getting a little unnerving to my elven ears as I withdrew Bakusaiga and concealed my demonic aura and steadily paced towards the forbidden bonding.

"Kikyo..." Inuyasha's voice tremble with such weakness and submissiveness that embarrassed our family lineage.

"Yes... Inu-Inuyasha..." The dirt's voice were like wails of lingering souls as I rose Bakusaiga in the air. "W-What the?!"

"Die Inuyasha." I struck the clay made body of the once renown priestess and only dirt splashed at me, my face did not stir at the ungodly sight of black mud. "You bring shame to our father's name for existing."

"What the hell Sesshomaru?! I thought we made a pact! Get the fuck away from my business!" Stupid half breed could not phase me with such childish curses. "Tetsusaiga!"

I smiled and dodge the fang's attack towards me and rushed at him with my own sword, making him run and jump to divert himself away from the blade. 'Run you so called hero of Feudal Japan... this Sesshomaru shall end your disgraceful life.' A new scent came into the air, as it drifted with the wind and my eyes quickly turned to a flying arrow. I quickly split the arrow in half with my sword and landed on my feet to face the new adversary. It was the odd girl that smelled like lavender and an odd smell of somewhere foreign. This would be interesting to see now that she has discovered Inuyasha's infidelities.

"S-Sesshomaru?! What are you doing here? Why are you covered in black mud?" She withdrew her bow and ran towards to face me. "First off where is Inuyasha?"

"That half breed is coming right here." I grabbed her waist and leaped to move the woman from harm. "Pathetic... he even tried to harm you human."

I placed the frightened woman down on a sturdy branch and collided into my annoyance of a brother, how predictable he wouldn't use the Wind Scar to try and harm me. I rose Bakusaiga with my hand and prepared to open a dimensional rift to throw the fool into oblivion, but the priestess jump down to retreat my arm to its side and walked casually over to the mutt with an unnerving calmness and anger. I smirked and placed the sword back into its sheath and watched how the girl take care of Inuyasha.

"Y-You bastard... SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT!" Each remark of that agonizing word made me chuckle as I saw the subjugation spell do away with him until he had hit the verge of unconsciousness as the woman screamed words of fury and hate. "I CAME BACK FOR YOU! TO WHAT?! 'Oh hey Kagome I'm screwing Kikyo after I found her a year after you left to graduate.' YOU KNOW WHAT YOU FUCKFACE I'M LEAVING YOU FOR GOOD!"

I returned my expression back to the frozen and unemotional one, yet I was impressed to the guts of this woman who had caused pain to my brother as turned my head to follow her retreat back to the village. 'Perhaps she doesn't have to leave...'

"Woman." She turned her head over her shoulder and stopped to face me. "I thought you had perished in the final battle with Naraku."

"I was transported back to my time Sesshomaru." I saw her smile gently for the first time and felt a wave of relief. "Were you waiting for me?"

"This Sesshomaru does not wait for anyone. I shall escort you back to the village were my ward stays. I will see to it that Inuyasha does not hinder your training as a priestess anymore."

'This Sesshomaru feels odd around this human. She reminds me similarly of Rin... yet an aura of peace and serenity exerts from her petite form.' I looked as she turned her head and confidently held the maple bow against her back, the wind undoing the ribbon that held her raven hair against the priestess outfit.

"Actually Sesshomaru, I think I can manage from here. Thank you for your offer." She took steps back to the little village before pausing again and looked back at me, not moving as I watched her leave. "We'll meet again."

"This Sesshomaru doesn't forget a promise. So we shall... Kagome." I turned back to my domain and smiled, one of my rarer smiles that none have seen.

It was the smile of when red rain poured down due to the solar eclipse, and when that priestess clasped me close to her face and kissed this Sesshomaru with tears. Tears for the fallen and the living. Tears of the red rain sky.
