Worth It by Necia Trammell

I could never love you

This is my first fanfiction so please any advice and suggestions would be great. Will continue if I get positive reviews. And of course the character are not mine they belong to Rumiko Takahashi I am just making them play my little game right now. Starts off dark but will change as it goes on.

"You were never worth it. I just used you to get what I wanted, you honestly think that I fucking loved you? Ha, I could never love you!" he yells at her before turning and storming out. Slamming the door with finality as he leaves. Her eyes go wide with his proclamation before she slides to the floor. Tears sliding from her eyes as her whole body is wracked in silent sobs. Never knowing what hit her she looks down at his ring on her finger and crys all the harder. She was so much better than you could ever be and ha I could never love you!, his final words to her floating around her brain. Making her sick, she makes a run for the bathroom in her small apartment, retching up what little she ate today. The thought of him with another depressing her all the more as she curls up in a ball on the cold tile floor. Weeping silently she looks up to see her medicine cabinet, getting up slowly she opens it and staring blankly for what she was looking for. Reaching in she pulls out a small razor blade, smiling as she looks at her reflection in the mirror. Knowing that this will put an end to all her suffering she draws it across her wrist. Leaning against the tub she watches as her blood drains from her body, smiling at the thought that he will regret his decision. She would be in a better place soon she thought, away from the mind numbing pain. Her vision started to waiver before everything went black. Falling slowly to the floor, laying unconscious in a quickly growing puddle of her own blood.

Striding steadily to the elevator Sesshoumaru growls as he is nearly ran into by a young youkai. The young man just snorts and continues to walk out. Growling lowly to himself Sesshoumaru continued to walk towards his apartment damn youth, have no respect for anyone, if I wasn't so tired I would teach him about respect!

Walking toward his apartment he wrinkles his nose. Ugh what is that? The stench of blood is close, but where is it coming from? Following his nose to the apartment down the hall from his he knocks on the door. Receiving no response he trys to decide what to do. I recognize this place it belongs to that human wench, I should just leave but the smell of death is slowly getting stronger. Growling at the smell assaulting his sensitive nose he crashes the door in, following the scent to the small bathroom where the young onna was bleeding out. His eyes opening wide in shock at the sight in front of him he scrambles to take care of the dying miko before it is too late. Pressing a rag to her arm to try and stop the bleeding, he uses a small amount of poison in his claws, sliding them along the cut line. Watching as her skin mended itself, miko powers reacting to his youkai poison. Shaking his head he thought to himself stupid girl, what could possibly of caused this? Picking up her tiny body he carries her down the hall and into his own apartment. Walking to his bed he gently lays her in the center, going into his own bathroom he take a washcloth, wetting it he brings it back to her laying it across her forehead. Ensuring she was comfortable and soundly sleeping he slipped out of his room and picked up the phone, hearing it ring twice before being picked up by a sleepy Jaken. "Get over here immediately, I need you to go to the apartment down the hall from me and clean up a mess. I don't want any reminders of what took place there or else" he growled into the phone before hanging up. Listening to his clock strike 1am he stood up, sighing he walked slowly to his bedroom; taking a seat in a chair in the corner of the room to wait for her to wake up. He had questions and he was damn well going to get answers!
