A/N: Oh my freaking god. I actually wrote this. Now, I wanna let this be known. Lady B, Monti, and R0o are really out of character… also, this is based off the anime Black Lagoon. Watch it, its great.

I do not own Inuyasha or Black Lagoon. Nor do I make money off of this.

On the bridge outside the city of Roanapur, there’s a noose left hanging for some unknown person. No one knows who put it there, or why. Maybe, it’s there as a warning — a warning that once you set foot in the evil city, that once you walk its streets, you can never go home again. You can’t go back because you’re already dead.

Chapter one: Roanapur

Pain. That’s all she could think about as she was kick across the boat and slammed into the side of the railing. Honestly, she didn’t know how she ever got into this mess. She was a business woman who slaved away for a boss who she couldn’t stand. Praying that one day she would get promoted and sit on the top. Not sitting on the cold deck with two guns being pointed in her face. What did she ever do to deserve something like this?

“Alright sweetheart.” One of the men said to her. “This is the disk right? You’re not pulling a fast one are you?”

Kagome shook her head as she looked at the two silver haired men. The one that spoke seemed a little shorter then the other one. And much more wild. A red bandana was wrapped around his head and light yellow eyes watched her with a smirk.

“Good. Come on Sesshomaru, let’s get out of here.” The one with the bandana said.

“Hn.” The one called Sesshomaru said. From what Kagome could tell, his hair was much more silver. Almost like the moon. His eyes reminded her of the sunset. But what set her off were the tattoos on his face. A blue crescent moon on his forehead and magenta strips on his cheeks and his wrists.

“Alright you morons!” The younger one called. “We’re going to leave this piece of shit peacefully. Don’t think about calling for help either. If you take a look over there,” He pointed to his own boat, “you will notice those tube like things on the deck. Those are torpedos. Call for help and I’ll blow this ship up. Got it?”

Kagome sighed and sigh of relief. “We get to live.” She said softly to herself.

“Not so fast.” A deep voice said, cutting off her train of thought. “Your coming with us princess.”

Kagome’s eyes went wide as the taller man picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. He easily jumped over the ship into their own as they began to drive off.

“Oh god…” Kagome whispered as she was set down. “This isn’t happening!”

“What the hell Sesshomaru?” The younger one snapped. “What the fuck do you think your doing taking her hostage? We got the goods; we don’t need this broad on this ship!”

Sesshomaru glared over at the younger man. “Inuyasha, we are only getting paid a measly five grand for that disk. If you ask me, Lady Battousai is shortening us. If we offer the girl back to their company, then we could rack it up to ten grand at the least.”

Inuyasha’s eyes widened at the jump of numbers. “Ya think we can do something like that?”

A snort came from another man as he opened the hatch to the inside of the ship. “And who do you think we can call Inuyasha? Have the number to Japan?”

“Shove it Miroku!” Inuyasha snapped. “Isn’t it your job to call those people?”

Miroku rolled his eyes. “Come on Inuyasha, I don’t know everything.”

“Um…” Kagome said softly. “I don’t know what you guys are planning, but I don’t think they’ll offer much on me. They just sent me on this assignment because I was the only one that could actually do it. I’m not very high on the chain.”

She could feel three pairs of eyes on her before the one called Inuyasha began to curse loudly.

“Damn it Sesshomaru! It’s your fucking fault. You should have left her on the fucking boat! Now we’re stuck with her till we find port. Fuck it, we’re going to Roanapur. We’ll drop her off there. Someone can pick her up.” The silver haired boy jumped into.

Kagome groaned as she leaned against one of the sides. “I’m screwed aren’t I?” She asked the other silver haired being.

Sesshomaru looked over at her for a moment. “Where we’re going, you could say that woman.”

“Kagome.” She answered him.

A silver eyebrow arched. “Excuse me?”

“My name is Kagome. Ka. Go. Me. I really would like it if you called me that instead of woman. Or bitch as that other guy likes to call me.”

“Hn.” Was his only answer.

**

“Come on woman.” Sesshomaru called as he jumped off the boat and landed easily on the dock.

The girl blinked as she watched the two silver haired men walk off. “Wait! Where are we going?”

Miroku stepped out and got onto the dock as well. “We’re going drinking. Inuyasha has to call Lady Battousai about what to do with you. If anyone knows what to do, it would be her.”

Kagome blinked as she crawled out. “Who is Lady Battousai? And where is this place?”

“Lady B runs this place. Well… okay, that’s not really true. Roanapur is run by three woman. Lady B runs something called Hotel Moscow. Don’t let the name fool you. That woman is a deadly force to run across. She is an ex military woman who runs a complete army under her belt. They say that if world war three broke out, her force alone could end it.

Then there’s Monti K. We don’t know what the K stands for so we call her Monti for short. Monti is also a woman you do not want to mess with. She runs the Chinese mafia. And she didn’t get there by family ties. No, rumor has it that she forced her way to the top. Now she has a strong following behind her. No one questions her motives or anything.

Last but not least is Sugar0o. She runs the local church here. Now don’t let the whole holy thing fool you. It’s a rip off church. The front is a holy place. Really, she’s the one who decides what weapons come into Roanapur, and what goes out. Everyone gets their lead from her. On top of that, she knows how to use them all. All three woman run this place. They never argue against each other, and they don’t mess with each other’s business.”

Kagome listened intently, and continued to even when she received a drink. “So, where do you guys fit in?” She asked.

“We’re a pirate company called the youkai Co. We do any kind of job. And sometimes you need to dirty your hands to put food on the table.” Inuyasha stood up. “I need to go make a phone call.”

Kagome gaped at him before her eyes finally took note of the bar. Everyone had a gun on the table. And if it wasn’t on the table, then it was on their belts. “Why does everyone have a gun?” Kagome muttered.

Sesshomaru down the rest of his drink. “Because this is a natural area. This place is for thugs and gangs. You’ll find no rainbows and kittens here woman.”

The girl huffed at him before she looked over at Miroku. “So, you seem like the passive kind of guy. Why are you here?”

Miroku chuckled as he took a drink. “Well… you see, I’m a bit of a play boy. Before I knew it, I got in trouble with both the FBI and the mafia. Sesshomaru there saved me.”

“Why don’t we stop taking trips down memory lane.” Sesshomaru said, pushing a drink over Kagome’s way. It tapped her current drink with a small ‘clank’. “Beer is for pansies and people who can’t hold their liquor. Oh wait… I forgot, you are a girl aren’t you? I’m sure a strong drink like rum would be just too much for that little body of yours. Forgive me, this Sesshomaru forgot.”

Kagome glared at the silver haired man before she grabbed the drink, stood up and downed it all before slamming the glass on the table. “Oh yea?” She snapped. “I’m willing to bet that this little girl, as you put it, can out drink your ass in a heartbeat.”

Sesshomaru’s eyes narrowed as he stood up, looking down at her. “Oh yea little girl?” He growled.

“Try me.” She growled back.

“Bartender!” They both yelled. “Bring us all the Bacardi that you’ve got!”

**

“Really now?” Inuyasha said as he leaned against the wall, the phone between his ears. “You don’t say.”

A female voice chuckled in his ear. “That’s right Inuyasha. It seems as if they don’t care what happens to you now. They sent out a spy as we put out the fake bait. Seems like they took it. Now dear, tell me who sent you. Loud and clear.”

“The company president!” The man cried out loud enough that Inuyasha could hear it though his line. “He wanted to see who had the disk and why.”

The female chuckled once more. “There you have it Inuyasha. And that’s not all.”

A silver eyebrow arched. “Really now?”

“Come now, tell me what else they have planned.”

The man screamed out again. “They sent a special group! Their supposed to be there to kill the pirates that stole the disk! That’s all I know, I swear!”

Inuyasha shook his head. “Wow Lady B, I’m surprised that you got that much out of him.”

The woman sighed as there was the sound of a gunshot in the background. “What can I say? I don’t like rats in my city. I especially don’t like it when they come after you. It seems like we’ll have to find a different meeting place. I believe china was where the disk was going in the first place. Meet me there. Oh, and have fun.” The line went dead.

He shook his head and he hung up. “Frightening.” He muttered.

**

“Chug! Chug! Chug!” The crowed yelled.

Both people finished their drink and slammed the glasses down.

“You done yet pretty boy?” Kagome smirked.

Sesshomaru returned the smirk. “I don’t think so little girl.”

*Crash*

Everyone at the bar looked over before Sesshomaru’s eyes went wide a the sight of the grenade on the ground. Acting quickly, he grabbed the girl and threw her over the bar and jumped over it as well just as it went off, sending a large explosion in the bar.

“Fuck!” Inuyasha yelled as he ducked around the corner. Soon after bullets rained though the bar.

“Damn it Sesshomaru!” The bartender snapped. “Are these your friends? Because if they are, I’m going to kick your sorry ass.”

Sesshomaru snorted as he watched the bottles of booze break above them. “I see you got the bar stand proofed.”

The bartender smirked. “Of course. With company like yours, you think I would do otherwise?”

Kagome tried her best not to scream as she kept her hands over her ears. “Oh god... we’re going to die…” She whimpered.

Suddenly, just as it came, the bullets disappeared. “Alright!” A man called. “I want you guys to check it. If it’s still alive, kill it. I don’t even want a rat alive.

“Sesshomaru!” Inuyasha called.

The silver haired man smirked. “Got it.” He said. He stood up suddenly and pulled his shirt back to show two hand guns on either side of his belt. As soon as the bullets started again, he moved quickly as if they were nothing. Pulling out the guns, he began to shoot, each bullet hitting its mark.

Kagome peeked over only to be in shock. “He’s… he’s smiling.” Kagome muttered.

Miroku shook his head as he began to crawl away. “They call him the killing perfection Kagome. There’s a reason to that. Now you have a choice girl. You can stay here and die, or you can come with us.”

Kagome gaped at the raven haired man. “Are you stupid? Of course I’m going to follow!” With that she ran after the man.

“Come on Sesshomaru! The car’s here!” Inuyasha called as he ran out the back.

Sesshomaru shot another bullet before following after his younger brother and the other two. “You better have a good explination for this.” He growled at Inuyasha as soon as they were all in the car.

“I’ll tell you about it when we get back to the boat.” He snipped as they drove off.
