Author's Note: Hi there! This is my first fanfiction and I'm trying to test out my writing skills...so leave me some reviews and I'll try my best to fix any mistakes and such to make everyone happy to the best of my abilities ^-^

If I feel like it the rating may change, but who knows...I just go with the flow and whatever happens, happens.

BTW...Sesshoumaru will be somewhat OOC in some cases.

Kagome looked out her bedroom window of the shrine in bizarre fascination when she saw a man dressed in a a pair of dress slacks and a buttoned up white shirt walking up the steps of the shrine. 'He looks pretty important', she thought in her hazy mind.

He walked with purpose up those shrine stairs to meet his future wife, not that he wanted to meet her, it was his and her parents who set them up for marriage not a year ago. Though to his ire his father didn't tell him until a week ago. 'Time to meet this little prude' he thought with an aggravated sigh. He could just imagine her being some stuck up twit who thought she knew everything and more. Just what he needed, more annoyance to add to his already barely bearable life.

Kagome ran down the the hallway and ascended to the last step of the stairs to see her grandfather answering the door with a formal greeting.

"Ahh, Sesshoumaru it's been far too long since the last time I saw you. How have you been?", her grandfather asked happily.

Sesshoumaru looked annoyed, but answered anyway, "Nice to see you too, old man.".

Kagome's cheeks puffed and her face turned red with anger when she heard the way this Sesshoumaru guy talked to her grandfather. She was about to say something not so nice to the guy when her grandfather beat her to the punch.

"I see your still have no manners when it comes to your elders, aye Sesshoumaru," not even offended with the way the tall man treated him. "Have you come to meet my granddaughter like you promised?"

Answering the old man with a nod Sesshoumaru looked towards the stairs to see a pretty young girl with raven hair and blue eyes in a pair of fuzzy pink pajamas and slippers looking at him with a hint of malice and annoyance. 'See she has a temper', he like them feisty.

Kagome was a looker with a hot temper too boot. She knew she didn't have the best judgement when she was about to blow on someone, or something, and she was about to prove her statement true and flip out at him for treating her grandfather like that. Well until she saw the way he looked up at her with that smug look...then she hit the floor with a dull thud as she fainted.

Waking up a few moments later to see her mother, brother, grandfather and Sesshoumaru staring at her with a mix between worry and indifference...well only one was looking at her like she was the scum of the world, though, we're not going to mention whom *coughSesshoumarucough*.

It seems like his day turned from complete boredom and anger this morning, to thinking it might get better after seeing what she looked like, to why the hell was he hear in the room looking at a befuddled girl staring at no one in particular. Well, his day was just filled with the feeling of love and joy...not. He slowly got up after that thought and turned to the elder man and stated with a flat tone, "I'm leaving now. Tell me when the girl knows what's fully going on and has matured a great deal," and with taht left the room and outside to his car. He was not ready for some little slip of a girl that fainted at the mear sight of him, however, his ego did grow a good ten percent more with the knowledge that he could make someone faint.

She could not believe that ass left without another word besides the insulting ones he said about her. What was he talking about any way with this whole thing about her not knowing and needing to know shit. Annoyed she looked at her grandfather with the look like 'tell me what is going on right now or I am going to throw and tantrum at this very moment.'

The poor guy looked lost and scared at the look she gave him and immediately started to tell her the whole arranged marriage with Sesshoumaru and how both him, her mother, and his father agreed it would be a good match. Though now looking at the more than just pissed off girl they both thought otherwise. Maybe this arranged marriage thing should be better left alone and run away right now.
