A is for Animal

       Hi everybody, just in case you were wondering, this is going to be a series of oneshots that are related to eachother about the relationship between Sesshomaru and Kagome. The main theme is each chapter is going to be about each letter of the alphabet. This one, for example, is "Animal" for the letter "A". Some will be funny, some will be serious, and some will just be insane. Either way, I hope you guys like it!

"A is for Animal"


' Three, two, on-'

"Oh my god....Sesshomaru!"

He had left it there on purpose, knowing as soon as she got home, she would want to use it. There was hardly a day she did not use it to unwind from work. He, being the loving person he is, decided to leave a present for her.

"Yes, dear, what happened now? Did you drop your phone in the toilet again?" He drawled, making his way towards her voice.

"No, love," She snapped. "And you know that only happened once. What I am referring to is this monstrosity you left in here!"

Appearing around the doorway, he took in the sight of her clad in her only her work shirt, and Hello Kitty panties. He put on an innocent look and asked, "What could you possibly mean?"

She glared at his angelic face and turned around. His yellow eyes widened as she picked up the sopping mess and threw it at him. It landed with a soft 'squish' on his chin and proceeded to fall, only to stick on his t-shirt. 

"This...this animal is what I mean! I have told you thousands of times not to leave it there. I take care of mine, and I expect you to take care of yours!"

He stared at her angry face for a total of three seconds before erupting into giggles. Even though he could tell she was on the verge of breaking something (most likely his face), she was exceptionally non-threatening in her little girl's underwear.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. The perfect opportunity presented itself, and I had no choice but to take it. Forgive me, Kagome?" His giggles died to a soft smile as he tucked her black hair behind her heavily pierced ear.

She rolled her eyes and poked him in the chest. Trust him to pull out the "lovey card" when she was upset.

"Whatever, but I swear to god if you ever leave another giant wad of your ridiculously thick hair in the shower drain again, I'm going to make sure you don't have any more hair to leave."

He snorted, but nodded.

"Let me make it up to you, though" He stated, waggling his eyebrows suggestively at her.

"Deal," Kagome said as she turned to go to their room. "But 'Let me make it up to you' better mean 'Yes, Kagome, I will give you a back massage' or you're sleeping on the couch." She looked back at him and winked, then skipped the rest of the way into the room.

Not exactly what he had in mind, but he'd take it.

Sesshomaru sighed as he followed her into the bedroom.
