Sesshomaru in the Present!?

It had been a tiring day for Kagome and she was ready to go home, not to mention to get a break away from InuYasha after they had just had another big fight. She had just said fairwell to her friends Sango, Miroku, and Shippo and began to travel to the well alone.

It had been nearly a year since she had first fell into the Fuedal Era and nearly all the shards had been found, very few remained.

Kagome dug into her shirt and pulled out a small vial that held the nearly complet purble ball that was known as the Sacred Jewel. Her eyes lowered as she looked at it, if she was to find all the shards would she be able to visit the Fuedal Era anymore. The shards were the only reason she could even pass though the well.

"I still wonder how InuYasha does it," she talks to herself.

"Does what?" a chilled daull voice spoke out causing Kagome to drop the vial but since it was a neckless it just laid against her chest.

"S-Sesshomaru?" Kagome turns to the tall fimiliar white haired man.

It appeared that Sesshomaru was just passing by for he was facing to the side not even looking at her. He was a tad difficult to see due to all the bushes and tree's in the way. He was not alone though, Kagome could see the fimiliar two headed staff stick up from behind a bush, Jaken was surely there.

"W-What are you doing here Sesshomaru?" Kagome tries to act tough. "Your not about to try to steal Tetsiga from InuYasha again are you?"

"...no..." he daully speaks. "...I'm just checking up on Rin..." 

"Oh, right," Kagome felt herself blush a bit. "I forgot Rin is staying with Kaede"

"Humans are so ignorent," Jaken appears infront of the bush. "They jump into conclusions and cause trouble all the time!"

"Enough Jaken," Sesshomaru looks down upon the imp. "Jaken..."

"Y-Yes my Lord?" Jaken studders and looks up at him.

"Go on ahead..." Sesshomaru closes his eyes. "Go to Rin awhile..."

"A-Alright my lord," the imp bows.

Kagome watches as the imp darts away towards the direction of Kaede's Village then they returned to Sesshomaru, who to her suprise was now looking directly at her.

"...Where are you off to...?" Sesshomaru stares with his blank stare. "...Shouldn't you be with my half-breed brother..."

"N-No," Kagome felt her cheeks burn. "I'm going home for a bit... That's all..."

"...Home?..." Sesshomaru's right eye brow lifts a bit. "...Aren't you from Kaede's Village?..."

"N-No..." Kagome stares at him.

Kagome's Inner Thought: *That's right, I don't think Sesshomaru know's I'm not from this time... though I'm sure he's at least noticed my outfit isn't from around here!*

"I'm just going home to the Present," Kagome finishes

"... present?..." his brow lift's higher. "...never heard of such a village... you must show me..."

This caused Kagome not only to have her jaw drop but burst into laughter

"I'm afraid you cant Sesshomaru," she chuckles. "I don't think you can pass though the bone-eaters-well, only InuYasha and I can!"

"... is that so..." his eyes narrow. "...If InuYasha can do it... so can I... show me human..."

Kagome's eyes went wide, "ugh... o-ok..."

Kagome's Inner Thought: *W-What if Sesshomaru could pass though... what if he goes around killing people and blowing my secret? But then again...*

"A-Alright," she nodds. "I guess you could give it a shot... but don't be to upset if you end up stuck in the well!"

His eyes narrowed a bit

With a little sweat drop on Kagome's head, she continued to walk to the Bone-Eaters-Well.

"Here we are," Kagome turns to him and sits down on the edge of the well. "All you got to do is hop in. I'll go first but don't expect me to come back out!"

"...fine..." he dually replies as he looks into the well.

After rolling her eyes she leaps down into the well and was surronded by a purple light.

~In The Present~

Kagome climbs out of the well and looks back down.

"Looks like he didn't make it," she rolls her eyes. "Oh well!"

She then turns to exit the shrine but just then she saw a glow of light come from the well. Her eyes went wide and she spun around to look. Just then she saw a hand w/ long nails grip the side of the well and Sesshomaru's head pop up.

"Y-You... m-made i-it through!" Kagome went gah gah. "B-But how!?!?!?"

He brought himself out of the well and faced her before looking around the shrine. "Interesting... looks like InuYasha isn't the only special one!"

Kagome felt herself take a step back

Kagome's Inner Thought: *H-How... How did he pass... Is it because he's r-related to InuYasha? What do I do... I wasn't expecting him to actually pass though!*

"W-well you made it to my world," Kagome tried to push him back to the well. "N-Now you can go!"

"...no..." he easily pushes her away and heads for the Shrine doors. "... I want to see more..."

Kagome gave an anime fall before darting off after him. When she exited the doors she bumped into his back.

Sesshomaru was to buisy to notice, he was staring around with wide eyes. Suddenly a small boy comes running over, it was Kagome's kid brother Sota.

"Hey Sis!" Sota runs over. "Your home, and you brought InuYasha *then he skidds to a stop* w-wait that's not InuYasha?"

Sesshomaru's eyes fell upon Sota

"S-Sota this is Sesshomaru," Kagome quickly explains. "He's InuYasha's older brother!"

"Wow," Sota's eyes grew. "Are you really! Are you a demon too!"

Sesshomaru didn't respond but Sota continued to admire

"Wow, that's so cook," Sota examins Sesshomaru. "But wait, ur ears aren't like InuYasha's?"

"... no ... there not..." Sesshomaru responds

"Wow and you even have Tatoos!" Sota tries to reach up to touch his face like he had done to try and touch InuYasha's ears the first time they met.

Sesshomaru on the other hand was to tall for him to reach nor did he show any sign of lowering himself down so he could.

"So what brings you here anyway?" Sota finallly calms down

"H-He just wanted to know where I came from," Kagome nerviously responds.

"Wow," Sota smiles. "I wish I could bring him to show-and-tell with me for school!"

"...School?..." Sesshomaru's brow rises.

"No no no no," Kagome's eyes fly around. "You dont want to go to school, it's scary you wouldn't like it!"

"... sounds even more interesting..." Sesshomaru smirks. "...I want to see..."

Kagome goes and glares at Sota, "Now look what you've done!"
