Unexpected Homecoming - Uncomfortable

After several layovers due to weather, her little family had finally arrived home very late. Jet lagged and disheveled, all they wanted to do was crawl in bed and sleep for days, but Kagome was utterly dumbfounded when she opened the door to the penthouse.

Sesshoumaru, not noticing Kagome had stopped, bumped right into her back. It took less than a second for Sesshoumaru’s growling to register in everyone’s ear.

Her brother –in-law sat straight up and gaped back at them very nervously. By all rights he should be.

There was movement from Kagome’s arms.

Rin's sleepy eyes took in everything as she asked, “Why does uncle Yasha have no clothes on?” 

 Kagome quickly covered Rin’s eyes, as Sesshoumaru’s growl had developed into a very feral sounding snarl.

There Inuyasha sat in the middle of their living room - naked, completely covered and surrounded in feathers. Feathers Kagome suspected came from Sesshoumaru’s very favorite and very expensive down comforter.

Needless to say, it was a very uncomfortable situation for everyone.
