1 - ALONE

Outside, the wind howled. Rain fell, in scattered, splattering bursts as the evening grew darker.

Inside, the lanterns were lit, bathing the room in flickering yellow light.

Finally, blissfully alone, the two of them were wrapped in their own little world, wrapped around each other in the luxuriously warm white fur.

The tips of Sesshoumaru’s claws drew patterns on Kagome’s bare skin, tracing the curves he had long since familiarised himself with. The smile playing on her lips was a sweet seduction, her tugging on his hair an enticing invitation he could not – didn’t even want to – resist.
