Sesshoumaru is the most powerful youkai in the feudal era and Lord of the Western Land. But because he have no mate & no heir, the court doubt his leadership. Due to Demon Law, Sesshoumaru must have a mate to produce a strong heir to protect the land before His 500 centuries birthday or he will be removed as a Lord.
Sesshoumaru wants to kill the court but unable to do that because he is a honorable Taiyoukai and he knows the Demon Law.
Honestly speaking he already tried, not really have to court any female ningen or demonses, they fall in front of Sesshoumaru feet and charm to be His mate. Because who doesn’t want a beautiful perfect powerful ambitious possessive mate that can give you a prestigious highest title of Lady Of The West, right?!
It’s not that hard for Sesshoumaru to get a mate, he thinks! But again, Kami love to have play a joke with him, because of his power and unbelievable strong beast inside of him, no one, not even then strongest demonses can survive the mating process alive.
Countless demonses, and also strong mikos in the feudal era have died because of Sesshoumaru mating. Willingly or not, he seek a powerful mate to produce a powerful heir to his line. Therefore he mate all the powerful miko ningen and demonses but to find their not strong and worthy of his beast enough.
Actually there’s one demonses that can almost pass the mating procedure, Kagura, a strong wind youkai. She pass the sexual part, she lives after being brutally pounded into oblivion with Sesshoumaru huge demon shaft, not to mention how many hours till he satisfied his beast lust. But died immediately after Sesshoumaru bite her neck and flare his yoki to blend with her own yoki. His yoki is too powerful and no one can survive it.
Depression and anger can be feel through out the air of the Western Land Castle makes no one brave enough to approach their Lord, until one day, the Western Land elder witch come to tell a great news that can be useful to The Lord himself.
“There’s a prophecy I found lately my Lord” the elder started
“Hn, tell this Sesshoumaru and don’t waste my time, witch!” cold and smooth like a marble, his voice low with anger rumbling inside his chest
“So the prophecy said, the strongest Daiyoukai alive can be only mate with the strongest guardians of the well, which is the 100th sacred well keeper” the witch nervously explain
Sesshoumaru listen to the witch word carefully with his shiny golden orbs burn like a sun.
“And my Lord, I already checked the Sacred Well, and found out that the well is self if full of magic of time, only one with enough power can dominate the power and use it to the future land of living and find the 100th sacred well keeper” he finish
After a couple of minutes silent,
“If you waste this Sesshoumaru time and lying, you will find yourself die horribly in this Sesshoumaru hands!” With that Sesshoumaru take the elder witch to the Sacred well in a minute using his supernatural lighting orb

Kagome is eighteen when suddenly be stolen to an era she’s known nothing about.
Today is her birthday and she just know that today she will be inaugurated as the 100th guardian of the sacred well inside her family shrine. It’s a family tradition to pass down the title on the 18th birthday of Higurashi children.
The inauguration went well, she is thinking about her future collage inside the well chamber when suddenly being push down to the well and the last thing she remembered is a shining blue light spark hit her body and then dark comes to eat her.
