Daughter of Ryukotsusei by Janeshia

Kyuseishu

Kagome, daughter of Ryu, sealed by Inutaisho is released by none other than Naraku. Rabid with revenge, yet playful in nature she embarks on a journey to restore her fallen clan..

Chapter One: Savior

She sat silently in the vast span of nothingness, waiting. For fifty years she had waited, and for another fifty years she would wait. Escape was futile, their was nothing, and no one that could free her from her seal aside from the one that cast it. Inutaisho, she distatesfully spat out. He had sealed her while she bathed, a sly move, one she would expect from a neko and not a inu.

A dead one.

Kagome agreed with her beast, surely her father had slain the mutt; it was her only beam of light, but also her darkness. With her father possibly dead, and the inuyoukai death their was no one to free her. No one would come, not even him.

Her beast purred at the thought of him, which Kagome ignored as always. Despite his betrayal, her beast yearned for him, understood he was bound to do as he did by youkai law. She was not as forgiving as her beast, instead she allowed her mind to wander to bloody, revengful tactics. Of seducing him, earning his total trust before her ultimately betrayal. She would sire a pup with the youkai and kill them both if she could.

As princess of the dragon tribe, a rareity amongst the men she was secluded from the world until child bearing age. For two hundred years she was confined to a cave, with floors her father kept warm, comfortable and cozy with the silkiest fabrics and rich, fluffy furs from their enemies she used as bedding and lounging. Jewels and charms hung from walls along with a hot spring her father had built himself. Her life was comfortable, but dull as the only remaining female dragon. She practiced and meditated constantly, day and night so that she would earn her freedom the moment she was child-bearing age. She understood her role in life, accepted it.

Dragons were too powerful, too intelligent, and the others, youkai and human alike demanded they reside amongst the clouds and mountains only. Humans; slow and weak. Youkai; strong and prideful. Yet, both sought supreme conquest, land and coins. The dragons refused to live such a pathetic, pointless lifestyle. Such a life of work and trade was degrading, they took what they only needed to survive and traveled the skies, enjoying the celestial beauty they resided on. They had done so for centuries, until the others demanded they subcuum to their lifestyle.

The dragons aggitation and fury swept the lands, destroying the villages and every villager that crossed their paths in a show of dominance, of understanding. That while they were peaceful and settled where others could not, they were not weak. Her father, the strongest to have ever lived, exceeding even his own father terriozied the west for many moons. Taunting the strongest of the lords, and it was during that time when her first blood spell began. The very second her father smelled her blood, he invited her to slay the west, to her first taste of freedom. It was her first time leaving the cave, the sun felt welcoming on her tanned skin, that shone in beautiful specks of gold all over as she flew beside her father, her cool eyes of lagoon blue wide as she took in the sights before her. The wind blew her white hair in all directions, as if carressing her.

Not once during the bloodbath did she question her father motives. Not once did she blink as her claws and fangs tore into the young and elderly, as her own katana struck down youkai and humans twice her size. For she was free, and would prove her worth that she was able to fend for herself, that she need not be sheltered..that was until she stumbled upon the lord and his son of the Western lands.

"Oh Inutaisho," her father laughed, humor devoid and mocking. "Are these your lands we've made a mess of?" Kagome giggled alongst side her father, her bloody katana hanging lazily by her side.

Inutaisho, the pathetic whelp who'd sealed her had said nothing as he withdrew his sword. His son, who's name even now she refused to speak did not mirror his father, he seemed almost bored as he merely stared at them, at her. Her beast had mewled to her then, demanded that she get closer to the stoic heir.

They all had fought visciously, equal in strength, drawing blood, and with every clash of their swords their beasts spoke to each other. As a result, the two of them would meet in secret; he listened to her unrealistic, feminine wishes. Both refusing to act on their beasts needs, until they couldn't wait. After promising her father she would stay within her cave during the final battle, she had invited him. He had never come, Inutaisho did. She had stood, nude, and glared into the daiyoukai eyes, knew why he was there and who had sent him.

Tracing sharp claws on her thigh, Kagome tried not to allow the vast darkness to bother her. It was difficult in the beginning accepting her new fate, despite her being accusumted to a lonely beginning. She recalled the day her beast had taken over, and flown for days straight until she'd given up. She didn't think it was possible for a rabid beast to surrender, but she had been wrong. They both had, their was no escape. Here, time did not exist and a eternity of darkness and her thoughts waited.

Time continued to pass in silence, and pass and pass...

"We have found her Naraku."

The soft, monotone of a child drew her attention, blinking slowly, Kagome stood staring into the direction of nothingness where the voice came from. "You have did well Kanna."

Unconsciously taking a step towards the unfamiliar voices, and another until she was running in a full sprint, her breath coming out in short pants as she reached out a single hand towards the darkness. The child was now chanting, the sound growing louder and louder with every step that she took until she came across a white outline of a black filled door. Uncertaintly filled her as she stood before it, pressing a single palm against it's firm, smooth texture. Was this some sort of trap? Did hell await her? Taking a step back in hesitation, Kagome called out. "Who's there?"

The chuckle of a man caused the faint, delicate hairs on the back of her neck as the black door started to slowly open..

Be alert

Before she could respond to her beast, the remaining space of the door slid open and a single, ivory clawed hand reached out to her. Biting down the hesitation, Kagome own hand gripped onto the man's finger, allowing him to slowly pull her through the portal. Confused, lagoon blue eyes met crimson.

"My savior."

Despite being blinded by the sudden light, Kagome dared not tear her eyes away from the man who'd freed her from the eternal darkness. His crimson, mischevious eyes bore down into her very on confused ones before lowering to her neck, and lower and lower until he'd drunk in all that she had to offer. Kagome never looked away from the half-demon, almost in a trance as she took in her first sight of a man after so long. Long, wavy hair that hung around porcelain skin, crimson orbs a sharp contrast. He wore a simple, dark purple robe and the standard socks and sandals. His face and hair gave a angelic image, with the dark robe showing off his masculinity. And yet, those crimson eyes were full of a wicked nature..

"My savior," she said again, so lost in his eyes she paid no heed to her nudeness or the gawking woman and child.

He chuckled again, and removed the purple harori top he wore, and wrapped it around the petite woman before him.

"Serve me," he hissed, "Serve me, and the one who sealed you I shall slaughter."

"Mikos do not serve demons."

"Yet, you desire to serve me, do you not?" he chuckled intimately, pulling her closer. "You, daughter of the fallen Ryu desires revenge, I can give you that," he cooed, rubbing circles with the tip of his claws through her shirt. "I can give you his sons, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. I can give you their friends, their lovers. My enemies. You do not have to serve me any longer after their defeat, unless you choose."

Looking over her shoulder, Kagome took in the squinted eyes of the wind witch, and the void ones of the child. Obviously, they were no match for Sesshomaru although she knew not Inutaisho had another son. Although, she was weary, he had freed her when no one else could. She agreed.

"I'll destroy their hearts. Their pups, mates and friends. And then, I'll seal them for a century. Only then will I allow death."

Author Notes: I have such a hard time focusing on a story after the first chapter (literally, I first wrote this chapter in 2016..and have like 100+ unfinished ones) so I want your help Dokuga! Let's make this interactive and fun.

Next Chapter; Who should Mrs. Kagome come across first?

1 - Sango because I love her. Either at her slain village while Kagome is visiting her old friend Midoriko, or they come across each other while bathing in a hot spring. I don't plan on these two fighting YET.

2 - Rin, she saves Rin from a group of bandits. Kagome doesn't smell Sesshomaru on Rin due to a little incident.

3 - Kikyou or Inuyasha. Tension will be definite here.

4 - ? ? ?
