The Queen's Tournament by Nightawakens

Explanation

I will forget to do every chapter, I in no way am the owner or making any profit off my stories, I do not own Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho or Hellsing. This is also my first story so please enjoy and be forgiving!!!!!!

Koenma sighed as he waited on the spirit detectives to arrive. All he could think of was the upcoming tournament, the tournament of the Queen. He looked across the room to where Botan was standing, “when do you think they will arrive? We do not have all day to explain to these fools and travel, I already know that Urameshi is going to be a problem” Botan just giggled, “they are on their way in as we speak.” As soon as Botan finished her sentence, the door slammed open and in walked Yusuke with Kuwabara following closely behind mumbling to himself about leaving Yukina, Kurama and Hiei brought up the rear, staying quiet, waiting for the reason they were called upon.  

“What do you want now, you brat?” Yusuke immediately asked upon entering the room

“Sit down and be quiet” Koenma could feel a headache coming on already, rubbing his temples he waited until everyone was seated before he began. “Kurama and Hiei, you two probably already know about the Tournament of the Queen, but I am going to explain it to Yusuke and Kuwabara. The Queen Kagome rules over the Makai, Reikai and Ningenkai with her 3 mates, Lord Sesshomaru, the killing perfection. Alucard the king of darkness, and Lucian the heavenly demon.  What you may not know is besides Lord Sesshomaru who has been her mate for 299 years, each mate has been found during the Tournement of the Queen. “

Wait a sec, let me get this right, this tournament is a way for the Queen to find another mate, why does she need another one and how does this affect us?”

“Yusuke, the tournament will call to your demon blood, once matured your blood will hear the call and sing back with a desire to spill blood and prove your worth to the Queen. No one but the Queen and her mates know why she takes a new mate every century, but you will fight because you will have no choice.” Replied Koenma

“I am not demon so thank goodness I will not be involved, I don’t want anyone but my sweet Yuk- “

A loud snarl cut Kuwabara off, all eyes turned towards Hiei, who didn’t say anything but gave a stare that could turn your blood cold.

“Yes, Kuwabara you will not be involved but I figured you would like to know what was going on with your friends. As for you Kurama, Hiei and Yusuke, the tournement of course is in the western lands, there will be thousands upon thousands of beings with power. You will feel the need to fight running through your veins but you cannot start as soon as you get there, the Queen will narrow down the selection immediately at sunrise on Oct. 13th. I am not sure myself how she narrows this down but if you are not chosen to participate you will be transported back to your home with no memory of even being there. That is all the information I can give you at this time.”

“Today is the 12th, so we are expected to leave today, I’m assuming”

“Correct, lets go boys!” Botan opened a portal to the Makai “I am going to take you exactly to the meeting point of the tournament.”

Yusuke looked at Hiei who had stayed quiet for the whole meeting and looked like he would remain that way, Kurama’s curiosity had already gotten the best of him, green eyes glinted with glee, and Yusuke didn’t know how he felt, him and Keiko had just recently split, he wasn’t interested in finding a mate but he sure as hell wanted to fight.

“All right, lets go”
