Kagome was sitting down looking up at the dark sky. Wishing that a miracle could happen, Inuyasha had not shown up to camp ever since Naraku was destroyed. Kagome known exactly where he was every night and it pained her to except it. She could never be as good as kikyo in Inuyasha's eyes. Even though Kikyo was the clay model of her, he still considered kikyo as the orginal. A tear slid down Kagome's cheek. Was she not good enough, he said he would protect her at all cost. But she had known he would not come to his scenes. Kagome stared into the flames of the campfire as it light up the camping grounds. Silently swearing to herself that she would not trust another man with her heart.
