Prologue

Kagome sat with her mind in turmoil, she sighed and looked up into the clear early evening sky wondering about the future...and the past. Kagome wondered whether this was the right decision, wondered if the Gods would hate her for reneging on their good graces. She looked down at the well for the first time in a very long time, and noticed claw marks and characters carved the lip. She moved her hands gently over the scratches Kagome could feel the pain and the loneliness they’d portrayed, for they mirrored her own.’Too many thoughts’  thinking this hard had gotten her here in the first place. It made her look like  a fool, he made her look like an idiot. To think that someone, no something like him could change was the stupidest thing she could have done.

She had a decision to make. A single tear slid down her cheek as she looked about the clearing again watching the flickering lights of the lighting bugs, today would possibly be their last day for the year, she always felt comforted watching the tiny insects flicker in and out looking for their mate. Sighing Kagome gripped the ledge of the well and  moved to jump into the time stream one last time, but two arms, strong as steel wrapped around her small frame, engulfing her and a face buried into the crook of her neck, inhaled the scent he loved and whispered, “Don’t go.”

AN: So this is my first SessxKags fic. I wrote something on FF.net but it lost steam. This story was inspired some by fanart by Youkai Yume "Don't Go". I want to thank Maya my Beta! Without her, this story would be a mess and I would probably not have the courage to post. I will probably post Chapter 1 in a day or so and then do about weekly postings. Hope you all enjoy. Please let me know what you think (please don't just bash it, if you think something needs work let me know, my writing is not very strong)
