Lord love a duck - how do you review a chapter like that? I absolutely LOVE stories that delve into the past to show why things are as such and while I'm honestly not surprised at how bad things were with the family, it was both touching and sad because I could feel Rose's anguish and Ken's regrets. They can try to transfer their love and affection to Rin but even they know it'll never truly atone for mistakes of the past and that's truly the sad part of the chapter. I can almost picture the two small boys standing next to each other; the straight laced elder brother brooding, jealous and resentful and the misunderstood hellion whose parents emotionally detached from them. It all seriously made me nearly forget about the fanfiction writing...but not quite! Buffy?? Eww!! I liked the show but fanfiction?? HA! Hilarious and Kags crying over Naruto and Sess seeing it, and Rin busting her little secret was too much. What the heck were you thinking when you put that together?? Now the last scene said a lot with a little being written. He will eventually admit he want to crawl between those well toned legs...can't wait for that to eventually happen but again, I love the pace of the story. Geeze what a long review...
