 You've set up an interesting plot that you could easily turn into a long story that would support the length.  All of the situations your characters are in interesting situations.  I look forward to your next update.

I've always thought of Izayoi as very different from Kagome.  The only thing they have in common are that they're human females.  Izayoi had no power and was a feudal era princess.  Not only that but she seemed to be fine being the other woman.  Sesshoumaru doesn't have any pups or a female he's committed to.  To me that's a big difference.  Not only that, but Izayoi couldn't defend her son and had to stay with her family in order to provide. 

Ooooooh how positively romantic! Sessh wanted to snatch Kagome away into the night. Mmmm I loved this flashback. Well done! Thank you for another wonderful update.

Really enjoying these flash backs. Sesshomaru had an air of arrogance in this one in regards to his stealth tee hee. He was almost playful with Kagome. Great job and update! Thank you!

I'm assuming this is a memory of the beginnings for them in the feudal era?  Who's memory is it, Sesshoumaru I'm assuming?  I'm looking forward to how this develops with so many unknowns and obstacles for them.
