Great story so far! This isn't the typical tie-up-Kagome-and-sacrifice-her-to-demon routine in which said demon frees Kagome, falls for her, mates her and magically protects the village that tried to sacrifice her in the first place story! This has quite a few twists and turns in it. It made me at first believe that Kagome was a lost heir to a kingdom or something, until Sesshomaru believed that she was probably a hanyu, but now I am not sure what she is either. Priestess abilities yes. Having villagers become violent towards you when they find out this information is very strange. It makes me believe that the villagers are just as afraid of people with any sort of power whatsoever and not just demons. Of course, Kagome's grandmother was treated with a bit of respect, since she was a Miko, until the village started to feel threatened by Kagome's presence. How sad.

Since Sango came onto the scene I can only hope that Miroku will make an appearance. Or quite possibly Shippo and his family. I personally don't want him to be an orphan. I want both of is parents to be alive, well and just travelling to the village to trade or settle down near there. Something like that at least.

Will Inuyaha be around for this fic as well? I got the idea that Sesshomaru's Father was alive at first, but then I got the second impression that he was dead after all. So sad.

Ah! I don't mind long chapters at all. It's great to see the lonely orphan gaining a following  Maybe they will become a warrior village and dedicate a festival to Kagome.

Hooray! drum roll....Sango made her appearance:) So curious as to why Kai acted the way he did when Kagome gave him three questions although I say he took some liberties and asked a few more:) wonder if Sess will return as he said after all he usually displays some sort of honor. I don't see him apologizing for his words, but maybe he'll get a little more soft around Kagome. I loved the sweet moment with Rin atop the roof and Reika so excited about her tea house. I also wonder why the male villagers keep referring to her as Lady, hehe. I know curiosity killed the cat luckily I'm not one, rolls eyes. I like how original this story is great job!

Seems promising, a few minor things tho. It needs a few extra readthroughs to catch the grammar errors and quite a few swapped words (like veil tounge insteal of vile tounge, veil is a fabric used to cover ones face with, like brides. Vile is disguisting) and also some switching between past & present tense that disturbs the flow of the story.

Also a "moon" is the time it takes the moon to complete a full cycle (28 days), not 1 night.

And finally you should change the universe flag from "canon" to "alternate".
