I don't like his dad. Why would Sesshomaru not resent all of this, whether he made a friend or not. He made him look weak to everyone, that he had to do trivial things to become heir. Unfortunately, it worked. Everyone felt like they could influence him or tell him what to do. If you want to impart knowledge on kids you have to be an actual parent. Seems like he parented when it was convenient and when it didn't interfere with what he wanted. 

Oh my gosh! I'm so glad for the update!. Unfortunately I must re-read this first to catch up since I no longer remember some parts. Hehe!

Hahaha what a delightful twist! So glad that you are back, and this story as well! So Miroku is a bad guy... Hehehe. And Naraku was actually the bastard behind Kagome's family's murder. And how did he end up ruling over 'hell' anyways?? Okay, I know it's not 'hell,' but it sure feels like it. 

I can't wait until Sess-chan tries to take the necklace off Kagome. And he can't even kill her, because his beast will stop him! Yay!

The plot thickens even further!

However.....as you said things are not how they seem to be. So maybe Kagome might be Sesshomaru's mate anyways, Naraku is a deceiver and liar after all. But with the way Kagome acts around Touga is also interesting. Perhaps, if she isn't Sesshomaru's true mate, she is Touga's. I believe Kagome just had puppy love (pun intended) with Inuyasha. She is very young and Inu has been with her for her entire life. So of course she'd feel something for him but even Inu's beast knows she is not for them.

Cannot wait for more!

Oh no! Trouble is in the horizon. But the thing that caught my attention the most is Naraku's line: "It is clear he doesn't care for them". Did Sess's love died the moment he was sealed? Or is he in constant denial like in the canon? Okay, I'm glad that Kagome is not her mother's reincarnation and that it saddens me a bit that she is not his true mate. But then it would not make sense if she was and overly cliche. Oh well. It's the spice of this couple's relationship status quo.

And Naraku as a villain is nothing new. But it's unexpected that Miroku is in his thrall. Is Sango also around with our local pervert or is he the only one?

Hmmm.... Once again your update never cease to amaze me. It seems to me that Takara somehow knew of the connection of her soul to that of her daughter's and that she still did love Sesshoumaru if she herself was the one pushing the two of them together. It's like Kagome was her mother's second chance with him - indirectly - and at least through her she can be with the one she loved.

As much as I'm surprised that he was not the cause of their demise, it makes sense that he would not be the one to directly kill them. Is it a ploy from Sesshoumaru's part to get Kagome's heart or is he at least sincere? He did said to himself that he'll kill her after he made a contract with Kagome.

And now, Kagome's all wanton and free to give herself to Sess with the necklace speeding up the process. Though she definitely is not acting on her own accord with that one. Oh, well I'm off to read the next chap.
