This is a prime example of why you are fast becoming one of my very favorite writers. You hit the right notes to have me reading straight through. There are a few minor edits to be made, but the story is well fleshed out and has a strong heart. I think the advice that Miroku gives about relationships is so often very true. We are very fortunate if we recognize the symptoms before that kind of deep caring relationship slips away from us.
