I like your story plot.though I'm curious if the pack or even Sesshomaru will believe what Kikyo is doing to Inuyadha? Or will they be the ones to save him since he can't seem to break out of it on his own......cannot wait for more!

This.will prove to be interesting if you were to have Shippo were to figure.out Inuyasha's lie.  Although young he is full youkai and would be able.to sniff.out his deception. Also, her love and devotion so pointed out by Sesshormaru, would be understood may be even on a instictual level by the kit.  a level the others wouldnt understand, remember Shippo's own father gave his blessing of guardianship to kagome. Thus a transfer of authority was given.  she is his alpa, the one whom has brought food, shelter, comfort and education.

So this means the sword has rejected him and both dumb a$$ belive a reincarnated soul would go back to a previous life.  Idiots, the cycle only goes forward.  Kikyo has truly forgotten her Shinto teachings.  I hope to see the backlash of the jewel, not the characters or even the kamis.  A pissed off combo of yokai and miko willpower now that would be such a site.  For they would remember the failed, uptight, blind miko and her ignorant pet.

i wounder how it would have gone if the yokai within the jewel also chose Kagome as its protector.  she is the only one whom didn't want to use it for thier own purpuse.  all the inhabitants of the jewel would have seen or at least felt all her emotions during the hunt for the shards amd become a mature miko of now.
