What caught my attention was the title....because I am a HUGE fan of the classic movie "Gladiator". But, sadly this story is a spin off of another gladiator movie. It is okay though. Anyways, I don't know what I was expecting....but you've definitely shocked me. Your imagery is amazing. I could see the scene play out in my head causing my skin to crawl with fear. I love it....I feel that as a reader I can connect and sympathize with Sesshomaru for I felt I was actually there.

I just love how you portrayed all the characters so well just with this one chapter. It was the simplest things that you mentioned that built up their characters. And of course, Narakus merciless actions are what stood out to me most. How evil, yet so him. And Sesshomaru witnessed Narakus cruel actions.....that I would never even forgive. Revenge is what my blood would be thirsting for my entire life. I couldn't blame Sesshomaru if he did too.

You have done a great job with this one chapter. Opening up a plot that has so much potential and giving the character a reason to plan his revenge. On top of everything, your writing style proves to me that you are capable of taking this plot and run wild with it. I believe you will do great things with this story. I love it.
