I'm a horribly picky reader I must admit, but I have to say that this is something fresh and wonderful. I haven't been this intrigued with a fanfiction in a long time. I do hope to read more soon, but being an author myself, I do know time is a very hard thing to hold lol So I won't threaten and cry, but I'm very excited about this. Thank you for writing.

This chapter was an absolute delight! I  have not had, for so long, read such an amazingly perfect characterization of Sesshoumaru, esp. the part where Sessh's way of dealing with the advisors was described. For me, that is the perfect in-characer Sesshoumaru. :)

This chapter has effectively brought me out of my reviews hibernation (a terrible sin, i know!) of the past 8 months. :) While not underestimating any other authoress's works, I must admit that, saying this is easily the best piece of character description I've read in the last 8-9 months, is just the scratching the surface of all the oodles of praise I'm tempted to heap on you! ^_^

And so I dedicate to thee, a Death-By-Chocolate cake! (my usual chocolate cookies just won't cut it here ;))

Lol! That poor, young youkai! Kagome's escape from Sesshomaru's shiro made me snicker in amusement. Kagome's thoughts and memories at the beginning of the chapter are intriguing...

Poor Sesshoumaru...is it bad that I laughed at that last part? I think he's going to need to drink something a bit stronger then water before this day is done.
