This should be an exchange, Kagome educating and taking care of Rin in human concepts and Sesshormaru would educate Shippo in youkai traditions.  Remember Kagome is far more educated the even the most highly respected teacher in Nippon thus, Shippo should be on at least be able to read and write under Kagome's care.  This would make her very appealing to Sesshormaru, for she would have an understanding of concepts not yet know to the average lord....Knowledge is power

I've found that I've enjoyed myself while reading the first nine chapters, and found myself shaking my head at Sesshomaru. He is really clueless when it comes to humans, man. Six days. Either he's as big an idiot as InuYasha, or demon fevers do last six days.
