The one word I can think of when I finished reading this was 'phoenix'. And in the real non mythical way, I love how in character Kagome is. And Sesshomaru too! Both are too honorable to shun their words and respect the promises made by another despite their own needs and wants, they both see this through to the end no matter the conscecuences and I believe this is why we fans love to ship them together so much, no matter how different they are in background, personality, appearance and beliefs both Kagome and Sesshomaru are the kind of people who keep going come hell and high water. Unlike Inuyasha whose fuse is way too short and his promises, while sincere, are not so strong (I think many of us were unsatisfied with the epilogue, I personally didn't mind the romance but Kagome belonged in her time, breaking every law in the book to give her a happy ending seemed to not give the impact it deserved).

Anyway, I love this story and would love to read a continuation even though it feels fairly complete as it is (what happened to Inuyasha though?).

This has taken me so long to get around and review...but I loved it!! *super huggle* And I missed you and your story!! I hope to see more updates soon. And I totally understand about not forcing writing. Just look at all my stagnant stories!! lol

I'm slightly confused, Kagome was saying he didn't mean it and that things will heal right? Then why would Sesshomaru do that example only to say the same thing? Or did I misunderstand?

Well, I went from happy to near crying by just reading this second chapter. Welp, let's get this heartbreak underway, I'm continuing the story!

It's great to see this story back in action. I hope you're fairing well from what I read in your update two chapters ago,I believe. Take all the time that you need. I can't wait to read the next installment. :)

This chapter was REALLY well written! Poor Kagome! Did InuYasha just...divorce her? Or something? This fic is too depressing.
