Reviews for Blood Ties by Stella Mira

LSP (Chapter 1) - Tue 29 Dec 2020

Quite a cynical view of Christmas we have there.

Your writing ia filled with imagery no matter how short the entries are

Well, it's not often Sesshoumaru is portrayed as the sentimental one! I quite liked the role reversal here - Kagome playing the part of cold and ruthless for a change.

Poignant writing, as always, Stella. :) I believe you captured Sesshoumaru's loneliness perfectly - all the emptiness and regret he feels over his too-long existence... I think I'd feel the same way, in his place. Vampires have always seemed very sad to me, too. :( Without the ones we love by our side, even eternal life would be a curse...

Anyway, so, so happy to see another brilliant piece from you, girl! It's such a joy to read your work - dark though it may be! :)

BelovedStranger (Chapter 1) - Wed 16 Apr 2014

Wonderful oneshot, my friend! <3

Kagome sounds so evil and twisted! She obviously cares nothing about humans expect for her next meal and amusement at their expense, while Sesshomaru obviously believes otherwise. He believes their, his and Kagome's lives, are inferior to humans. It's not often that I see Sesshomaru's and Kagome's roles in reverse from the anime/manga adaption and I'm loving it! I feel bad for porr Sesshomaru especially since that hunk of man can no longer *ahem* enjoy the warmth of a woman between the sheets lol

And you even threw Inuyasha in the mix! He sounds like a horn dog while Sesshomaru can't understand why his brother doesn't just find a mate, settle down, and be happy.

Thank you for participating in the Vampire Challenge, Stella!
