Nice chapter. I enjoyed it very much. 

I would just like to point out that 'sought' is the appropriate past participle for 'seek'. There are also a few little grammar bits. I'm not that great with grammar so don't worry too much about it, it didn't really take away from the story anyways. 

If you don't have a beta already you might want to think about getting one. Not that your chapters aren't good, I just think they would just shine a lot more if you had a second pair of eyes to help you out. 

I must say that I'm intrigued. I'm excited to see where you take this.
