HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Tana_san (Chapter 151) - Sat 15 Feb 2014

See? A perfect "no fuss" romantic Valentine's Day> Simple and very sweet (in more ways than one). I always loved these kind of holidays.  I could never write exactly how I felt but I always found poems from Helen Steiner Rice and others than said just what I felt and wished to say in cards and he would always bring me a rose and chocolate covered cherries which we shared after the romance while we watched a movie laying in bed together. Every now and then when he really wanted to be romantic and had been able to save a little money, he would buy me a necklace, bracelet or earrings that I had been looking at when we would "window" shop. I love looking at the jewelry counters and my daughter always remembered what I said I liked and sometimes he would remeber himself, which would make the gift that much more special.

Congradulations on the greatest first Valentine's Day. You do know that in Japan they have a White Day, right? It's when the guy gets the girl something to let her know he cares for her. Valentine's Day is usually the girls giving the guys chocolate and hearts to say they like them or love them. I think White Day is in March, I'm not quite sure.   JEN

Tana_san (Chapter 148) - Sat 15 Feb 2014

Hi, I'm back!!! This was absolutely purr-fect!!! I just adored the bathroom scene and the way he smelled her feminine scents and decided to let her finish her perfumed bath and then just sat waiting like a child does when Mama is in the bathroom, waiting for Mama to come out. Then to have him walk in to the bedroom to catch her in his shirt for the first time, smelling oh so beautiful and she's been planning this little get together and he follows her lead to the romance and love, only to have her say what he's been feeling for quite a while now now and being momtarily surprised that she said those special words first to him. Now that was sweet and so romantic, cute even, when he was surprised that she really loved him.

I love how amazingly romantic this is. I will no doubt repeat this always, my friend. You do romance beautifully and naturally.  JEN

Good thing the gym was closed... ;)

Nicole (Chapter 144) - Mon 03 Feb 2014

My, my. So much can change in a year! I'm glad I'm not in Kagome's shoes (trying to find something for Valentine's) since my nieces will enjoy whatever I give them ;)

Congrats on all you nominations! They are well deserved :)

Ankita (Chapter 137) - Thu 30 Jan 2014

I woundn't mind if my future husband (preferably sesshomaru :P ) would cook delicious food for me ....

And I was really happy when I saw that the The Omiai was nominated for best sessho portrayal.

Congoooo :)

Nicole (Chapter 128) - Wed 18 Dec 2013

Awww.

I love the pacing of this story, relationship development-wise. They may not be there yet, but its been clear for a while which way things are moving (not that there was any doubt).

Nicole (Chapter 123) - Wed 18 Dec 2013

It's good to know those kinds of things about surprises! :)

Nicole (Chapter 103) - Wed 18 Dec 2013

lol, it's good to have friends :)

Nicole (Chapter 100) - Wed 18 Dec 2013

This reminds me a bit of a conversation between one my sisters (a vegetarian) and my 5-year-old niece (a self-described carnivore). It was a much cuter version of this :)

Nicole (Chapter 91) - Wed 18 Dec 2013

Ahh siblings. Gotta love 'em ;)

Nicole (Chapter 77) - Wed 18 Dec 2013

Ah ha! I had a vague recollection that there was more of the story here than on FFN, glad I checked :)

I'm with Souta. I don't like to remember how things will change when my siblings marry (or move) either.

Ankita (Chapter 128) - Sat 14 Dec 2013

:P poor sesshomaru i feel bad for him

Tana_san (Chapter 128) - Sat 14 Dec 2013

Oh my, this last chapter sounds just like my husband!!! Now that he's retired he doesn't want to be left "alone" as if being in the kitchen or my daughter's room calls for such a thing. Sessh has just goten used to her being there, with him, cuddling and talking before falling asleep. It's cute in a way, but also can be (like now when she needs to get the gifts wrapped) a real pain.

I think Kag's mom just wants grandkids soon since they ARE now married. Maybe she's feeling her own age and going through the baby blues. I do that from time to time. I wish my daughter would find a great guy and give me grandkids or just one because I was only able to have her and she grew up so fast. But Sesshoumaru's answer to the discussion was very well said and with great thought. They need to fall in love with each other and experience some "alone time" before bringing children in their life. "Better to establish a solid foundation before building the house"

Oh and I don't like sweet potatoes either, no matter how you cover them up!  ECK!!! I'm with you, Sessh!   JEN

Tana_san (Chapter 125) - Sat 14 Dec 2013

I am in total agreement. This was and is and always will be a great man in our history and he needs to be mourned and remembered. This was a wonderful idea.  JEN

Ankita (Chapter 125) - Fri 06 Dec 2013

may his soul rest in peace thank you for dedicating the chapter to Mr. Nelson Mandela...
