Yeah, I'm one of those very infrequent reviewers - if I can find nothing worth saying, or if it's been years since an author has been online on a site, I don't say anything. That's not to say that I only review when I like something...or not, as the case may be. I respond to those moments of a story that are interesting, different, or unique.

This story, "Mother's Son Knows Best", is funny and has a perfect balance of the happier emotions. No great tragedies, no deep angst. While those darker things can be fun to read, from time to time, they are best used like any spice - enough to flavor, not enough to overcome.

I was greatly impressed with the skill you used in verbally sketching your characters. And the ease with which you advanced your story. It was a delightful read.

I love this story. I like how there is that hope that things would turn out this way had the events after Naraku play out that way. <3 to read any future KagSess stories with shippo as a good backbone to Kagome

This has got to be my FAVORITE Sess/Kag YET! I loved the humor and the contestants (and would so have mated the monkey). It was sweet, and left me feeling giddy from the feels and the correct spellings and grammar. THANK YOU FOR HAVING CORRECT SPELLING AND GRAMMAR!
