Poor tongue tied Sesshoumaru.  Maybe he should have used cue cards or epic poems pre-written to express himself and left them pinned to the fridge heheheh

Tch... I must have a bit of Sesshoumaru in me because I found Kagome to be incredibly irrational in this. How does one date someone for 7 years, think they hate you, agree to marry them and break off the engagement because you've come to the conclusion that said fiancé was playing games the entire time? She didn't bother to ask if he loved her, to ask him why he doesn't speak or to just say "hey buddy I'm leaving if you don't start talking"?

... and to slam the door, after yelling no less, without allowing the dude to explain himself...

I mean this is really cute, but I was rolling my eyes and muttering the entire read through. 

"He had been making a fool of himself in front of her since his senior year in high school."

*sigh* such magical words.

I love this Sesshomaru you painted in this story. In a way, I could totally imagine Sesshomaru stiffening towards the love of his life. SO romantic....I love it.

I just HAD to tear up when I read Kagome slamming the door in front of poor Sesshomaru's face....when all the meanwhile it was just her misunderstanding! And you call ME cruel?! You TOO! *watery chuckle* *sniffs*

I love how you wrote his side of the story as well...it just makes this story so much more heart wrenching.

Thoroughly enjoyed this piece... I have had a similar experience where not saying anything is worse than uspeaking. I would hope that u could make a mini serial about how they overcome and deal with the challenges of communication. It would be like they have to start dating all over again to figure out his tastes, likes and overall pieces to his nature that make him...Sesshomaru. Loved it
