The story isn't half bad. Its a fun idea and one I haven't seen alot of before (which is hard to do in fanfiction-land). However, the writing isn't top notch. You seem to rush through some scenes. You defeinitely leave out parts of sentences and use a decent bit of bad grammar, but a good beta could fix that issue (my grammar is horrid until my beta tears through my fics). Concentrate more on saying what you want to say in the best possible way, using detail to help the scenes evolve, instead of just getting your ideas down and posted instantly. The fic has potential- I'd love to see it live up to that potential.

Roommies aren't so bad, but I guess it depends on the ground rules the 2 (or more) of you set and how much space there is. My aunt said she had a couple of guy room mates on the first floor who were quite noisy and entertaining. She says that they pushed their sofa out the window and screamed " The University Order is now in effect!" I guess the UO is when you put all of your desks in the main room and the furniture is put around them or somewhere else. Any way, she said it happend a long time ago.
