This was a fantastic story. I'm glad that I wandered into my old ASSK favorites list and decided to look it up. I honestly don't remember reading any of this, but it is beautiful nonetheless. I hope you're still writing and that this new year has been treating you well.

You need to write more.  Much much much more.  Chapter 16 made me cry, it's very hard for stories to push me to tears... and well, you've gone and done it.  As I have said before, your way of telling a story is a wonderful thing.  Please keep telling them.

As I was going through my favorite stories (so I could save them to re-read whenever the mood strikes), I came across this excellent tale again... and was again enthralled for the entire 18 chapters.  I sooooooo love your writing - and your descriptions - and your plot twists and turns - and... and... everything!  Yes, I re-read this on Valentine's Day, and it fit perfectly with the tone of the day, if you ask me.  The redemption of all concerned, even with the angst of losing Kaede, along with the revelation of Sesshoumaru's devotion during Kagome's childhood just fit today.  I don't remember if I reviewed this story before but, if not, I want to take this chance to thank you so very much for a WONDERFUL read!!! :-) ~~Wiccan~~

I love your story. It's original, and enjoyable. It is, however, a little difficult to follow. I would recommend using symbols(@@@, ***) or something of the like to separate scenes. In chapter four, you jump right from Izayoi dying in front of Sesshoumar and Shippo, to her master clenching his fist. You haven't given a name to the master yet, so you call him "He." Without the scene break, one reads continuously, and is made to believe that it is Sesshoumaru speaking and clenching his fist. The scene breakers, changers, whatever would make the story so much more easier to read, and much more enjoyable. It's so terribly hard to truly enjoy a story when you have to re-read something because the way it flows makes absolutely no sense. Just some constructive criticism thrown your way. I really am enjoying the story, otherwise. :D
