| I am so glad I finally got around to reading this story. It is really original. I found it strange to kind of feel sorry for Naraku in the beginning. Yeah, he is evil, but so was Sesshy, right? Anyways, can't wait for the update!
This looks really, really interesting, I'll have to read the rest when I get home tonight!
Oh, and I thought it was funny when I first saw you had named one of your characters Izanami because one of my characters is named that too! The name originally comes from an old Japanese legend that I found about the first god and goddess of the world, which was the inspiration for the story I'm writing. Don't know if you care, but I thought you might think it was interesting to know the origins of names and stuff.
Lol, anyway, your writing is very smooth and flows nicely. Its good to find an author who can write something that is both easy and enjoyable to read. I hate it when you read a story that has such a unique plot, but the writing makes you cringe. But you're writing is golden! Keep up the good work!

I'm loving your story, read the whole thing over a 3 day period (b/c you know I've got to rest my eyes sometimes ;D) Anyway, I really like the way your dragging out the whole sess/kag romance. I think some writers tend to be too quick to get sess and kag together and it just kills the story because it's totally ooc and unbelievable. Personally, I enjoy a little bit of anticipation and your story is excellent in providing that and making me want more. :) Also, I have to say that as a writer you have really evolved from your first chapter to your last. Not saying that you weren't good in your first few chapters, just saying that I think you've reached another level in your writing. (But that may also have to do with the fact that there is more sess/kag in the later chapters, I could be a little biased ;D) Keep up the excellent work! And I really hope you don't decide to call it quits after this story. :) Your a fantastic storyteller.

I loved this chapter. What's not to like?? They are getting closer and, as I told someone today, I've been waiting almost forever for you to do that! Yes, I know that the story flows beautifully the way it is, but I'm a sucker for fluff, the more tooth-decaying, the better. I can hardly wait to see what's up with the Northern Lord, though, and what the theft might have to do with the new threat to Kagome... I just know it has SOMETHING to do with it! Still, I'm not going to guess, cuz I'm almost always wrong. ;-) ~~Wiccan~~

| These cliffies are becoming torture. I love the fact that you didn't jump into their relationship too quickly. Too many fanfics have them enemies one day and mated the next. This is a wonderful chapter and I can't wait for the next.

I take it that Kagomes being jealous has to do with another one of her friends having someone while she still feels lonely? Hopefully Sess will take care of that by the end of this fic. | I've started reading this fic recently and waited until I caught up with the updates to review.. OMG, you simply wrote an amazing fic! I mean, Kaede's death and what the hell was the checkers scenne?? Perfect! I almost jumped a few paragraphs to see what was going on!!!!
I have a feeling that this is going to be a long fic, for there's still a tale to unfold... And, man, the way you're making things progress between Sesshomaru and Kagome it's just incredible.. Sometimes I wish it'd go faster, but the way you're doing/writing it just seem so real!!!

For some reason, I didn't give this story a chance. So I kept skipping over it. Maybe the title didn't grab me.
When I finally couldn't find anything else I wanted to read, I decided to try it out since this same author had some other fine pieces of work out there.
OMG, I was completely drawn in! You are such a wonderful writer. I would keep checking the number of chapters because I didn't want the story to end. :) It's really tough waiting on updates when stories are THIS good. To my delight, I finished chapter 22 last night and was sad to have to wait on another update... then here is chapter 23!!! woohoo
I love the way you have Seshoumaru floating in and out of Kagome's life as he pleases. I love their interaction. You manage to keep him in character even though he's doing completely uncharacteristic things such as playing checkers. :) It's like he's lonely, though he doesn't realize it. He's so sure of himself, he does whatever the heck he wants and see whoever the heck he wants... even if he doesn't understand why himself.
I know we still have to get through the naraku stuff, but the kag/sess interaction is so nice, I never want it to end.
