This chapter was beautiful. I love Sesshoumaru's thought when he was panicing about Kagome's reaction.  I don't

mean that I liked his being scared, rather the fact that he values her influence in his life to such an extent..  Lovely writing as usual.

I know you said you didn't write your author's note for sympathy but that is not the main reason I'm writing this.  I just want you to know how much  I admire you for writing the prompt even though it was emotionally painful. It is always horrible to lose a loved one and to lose a parent is devastating. Your writing is beautiful and insightful.  Literature is how we are able to show the world our thoughts and feelings.  Sometimes the emotions we express are the ones that hurt the most.  Thank you for writing this great story.  My heart goes out to you for your loss. 

I am so, so sorry for your loss. I know how hard and painful it is to lose someone close to you. While I haven't lost my daddy yet, which I'm sure will be devistating, I did lose my grandfather 2 1/2 years ago. It was very painful and I still think of him and miss him everyday. I prayed for you and your family today. I hope you find peace again soon. My condolences.

Now about this chapter, it was beautiful and really shows Kagome's pain. You took your emotions and translated it into beautiful art in the form of the writen word. I hope to see more of this depth of emotion, not every author can accomplish that. So kudos.
