Hello, I wanted to say that your story has really hit home for me. The reason why is I love this song because I was 5 when the man I call my DAD came into my life, my sister was 3. Mom always had a hard time when she dated any guy, they would take one look at my sister and me then make up stories like "MY truck is acting up and they don't want it to break down.", or they would think that because my mom had 2 kids that she would have sex with them. Then MY DAD showed up, and for the first time we got to go, the happiest day of my life was when MOM and DAD got married. I didn't get to know my real father her died right after my sister was born and I was only 2. The man that is my DAD is the greatest DAD in the whole world. I also got a big brother in the deal then wound up with 2 more sisters. This song says everything to my Dad that I haven't been able to tell him. Thanks for the story.
