You have done well in introducing to the story, and I personally don't think it had moved slow since as you said, you have to set the stage. It's only the second chapter too. :P

Can't wait to find out what happens with this new little family. I wondering if shippo will show up some how too. Seems like the right setting for him to join Kagome in XD
