Poor Sesshomaru, please update the next chapters quick, keep it coming. 

this story....this story IS different from most.  its not necesarily dark, but it has a more serious component to it. i do love this. i really do.    ive read other stories where kagome and sesshoumaru are soul mates, but istopped reading them because he became TOO forceful, and while he didnt force himself on her,  he did hit her and "torture" her mentally a bit.     this is your story though,  but i hope you will read this :/

I'm just on chapter 2 and this whole chapter was so riveting that it was hard to take my eyes off the screen, but I knew I just had to review this amazing beginning. It matters not to me that the characters are somewhat OOC. It seems to me you just let them grow up and as time has it's way of doing, they all changed and matured. It makes sense that Kagome would have become somewhat hardened and that InuYasha would also grow to begin feeling his youkai heritage take control. He doesn't and didn't have anyone to teach or train him about his youkai blood and how to deal with it, control it. It was mentioned I think that he would eventually fall to his youkai/beast and his human half wouldn't be able to fight his way back. It's also likely that as Sesshoumaru matured and Rin began to grow up that he would find out more about humans for Rin's sake and by caring for this young human child he would change his thoughts about humans. to some degree anyway. I can also see him watching as Kagome matured and learned to become more self assured and strong that he might become attracted to her strength, determination and drive to be her own person. I'm sure her power has grown along with her and that too would speak to his baser instincts.

You've got a good thing going here, but I found this fic alittle too late?early? (i'm a night owl) and now that I've taken my morning meds, I need to sleep. It's been a while, but I liked it and hope the next chapter comes soon.  I wonder if Inuyasha will remember telling Kagome that she was meant for someone else when he comes back.  I'm guessing that was his soul that spoke, so many he won't because his mind is too stubborn.

I loved this chapter.  I liked the detail and the explanations we get.  It's so sad what is happening, and also it was a surprise to learn that Inuyasha will not be staying dead.  I hope he doesn't come back all rabid and crazed, and if he does come back normal then what will happen between him and Kagome?  I don't remember if either one of them had decided to just be friends or if he had still been stuck between her and Kikyou.  Would Kagome want to be with him just because of how she felt after his death?  She's going through all this grief now but what about the feelings brought on by the attempted rape and killing of her?  Will we see any of that?  -sigh-  Please update soon. =)

I like the story. A lot. I just don't know how I feel about him being dead. Maybe I'm in shock too. Either way, I look forward to see where you are taking this wonderful story

Omg, this might be the best Sessh/Kag fic I've ever read! I can't tell you how nice it is to see someone writing a strong, independant Kagome who isn't completly over the top. I look forward to your next chapter.
