Awww, Shippou! T.T I both love and hate how they have taken this responsibility upon themselves, because let's face it, they are still children which places them pretty low on the totum pole as far as power goes. I just hope that whoever has them takes them around Kagome so she can go BAMF on everyone, or the youkai form a bond with their children and angry beastial daddies come to the rescue.

It's chapters lik these that remind me how much I love Kagome. It is one thing to love those around you, to want to protect a child, but it's quite another to be so utterly selfless and not try to save yourself and the ones you love. I used be all >.> about her matrydom attitude, but now I only see it as a strength. A foolish strength at times because she does have the ability here and in the manga/anime, but a strength nonetheless.

My heart wrenched a little at this chapter. As a mom, this is my worst nightmare, so I can easily put myself in the Higurashi family's shoes. But poor little chibi. He's worried and inaundated with all of these scents, but I love the faith that he has in his father. It's such a refreshing change from the norm. Well done!

Hmmm... Byakuya is not entirely sure what to make of Kaqome it seems. I wonder if he is still on the fence about whatever scheme Naraku is cooking up. I guess only time will tell. I did giggle a bit when he thought about her reeking of canines. Poor Kagome can't get a break. Chibi thinks she reeks of bugs and Byakuya thinks she reeks of wet dog. ::snickers::

Poor chibi as no clue what's going on! LOL I'm surprised that Shippou's dad didn't go feral, but I am pleased to see sucha heartwarming reuninon.

T.T You had me worried there for a second! I also like how you had Inupapa bring the chibi with him. As gruesome as it was, this will one day be his responsibility to protect and care for those under his watch. But the best thing besides Shippou's dad, was the final moment with Inupapa and the chibi. Really well done.

AH! She knew! Keep on impressing that Inupapa, Kagome! I love how Chibi had to reassure himself of Kagome's safety. Not too mention, Inupapa seemed invested in her okay-ness as well. Now they need to hurry to the Kitsune!

Daaaaaang! Way to go, BAMF Kagome! I love how battle ready the little Chibi was, he seemed so seasoned. I would say sure, but that would be ridiculous because the Sesshomaru-sama is anything but sure. XD But at least now the Kitsunes are alerted to an attack and can hopefully be prepared for it.

Dun dun duuuuuuuuuuun! Apparently there is more protection than even Kagome knows about, but the bringing in of the Thunder Brothers may only spell doom. I do think that Naraku are underestimating Inupapa a bit though. I don't think he's as impartial to Kagome as he thinks.

I can just see the inner O.o look on his face, because goodness the little chibi would never show it. However, one thing did strike my attention. I wonder what Sesshomaru sees that is similar between the two women.
