Where is Shippo? I can't imagine Kagome leaving the group without Shippo. I'm surprised she isn't toting that pup around.

I'm curious as to why Kagome is quick to fuss or glare at Sesshoumaru but has said nothing to Inuyasha for instigating a fight?  I really feel bad for Sesshoumaru.  Everyone dismisses the fact that he has had to deal with challenges and attempts on his life while taking care of his lands, but think he is so wrong for wanting a sword that could help him with all he's responsible for?  I've always felt that his dad was a jerk, I don't see him as this romanticized demon.  Curious how this will play out.  

I have a hard time realizing Kagome left Shippo behind when she went with Sesshomaru :(
And if they are traveling./....where is Niohime?

So Tessaiga is not cooperating with Inuyasha and yet Sesshomaru still can't pick it up. Neither one of them can wield their father's fang.  I assume the sword will not allow him to see the wind scar to use against his brother... or is that in general? We'll just have to be patient to find out.

I've been enjoying this little story. I especially like Tsukiko and Yuuki. They are a nice edition to the standard cast. Inu mama is mischievous which I appreciate. Yuuki seems to be a woman of sophistication, cunning, and mystery as well as a party animal. I keep watching for Rin but assume this is AU enough to not include her. Thanks for sharing your inspiration. I look forward to reading more.

Wonderful! I have to say though I'm surprised that Kagome hasn't wantd to bring Shippo to her, maybe this reunion will bring the group together in some ways.
