You had to be sobbing as you wrote this because I'm sobbing as I read it. Brilliantly done.

Where have you been hiding?

This story left me reeling in amazement. It reads like a work from a seasoned author, so it's hard for me to fathom I haven't had the honor of experiencing one of your stories by now.

The imagery you create is transcendent in its beauty. You concentrate on a few metaphors, fleshing them out into a family of heart-stirring sentiments. The wind. The stretch of beach. The mix of his tears in the sea. And oh my, the gravity of the Setting Sun. That's my favorite. The way you align the visual of the setting sun with the colors of their souls and the tenderness of their love for each other, the way you have her praise him, the way you humble him with her gift of her life and the depth of her loss...I don't think anything I say can do its beauty justice. There was more tangible, touching emotion in this one-shot than I'm able to comprehend. The solidity and poetry of your writing stunned me. This is absolutely one of the most eloquent and poignant pieces I've ever read. Breathtaking work.

Thank you for this. I haven't read anything so beautiful in a very long time...You've broken my heart. I can't tell you how very much I loved this and how deeply it touched me. I cried and cried...and it has become so very hard for me to cry, these days. My heart is still aching for them. Your character portrayal was flawless, poignant, and filled with such desperation and love it was moving. Perfect.

KouseiJL (Chapter 7) - Wed 08 Aug 2012

I feel a bit rusty at leaving a review, but I've read so many stories by now that I feel a bit too jaded to leave reviews sometimes. This piece... your writing... I cannot not review.

This was so touching. So many artists have started pieces like this and left it as a one shot, but you've given it depth and a such a fragile melancholy. I was particularly pleased at how you kept the couple in character and that you did not include other characters. Their inclusion sometimes merely creates clutter, whereas you've left their distraction and focused on the depth of the two lovers.

Life, death, and immortality were explored, and then passed by for the simple elegance of a love that was taken too soon. The analogies that were present in some of Kagome's theories of the world were particularly bittersweet. There was always just enough intrigue to keep me wondering if Sesshoumaru would take the easy way out to join his love, but the beauty of it is that you didn't let him.

Thank you for writing such a unique and poignant piece.

So sad! T.T

But still beautifully written.

Maracuya-Chan (Chapter 7) - Sat 28 Jul 2012

So beautiful and so so sad. So romantic, it makes my heartache, it was beautiful imagery and beautifully written, I really hope he finds her again and maybe this time they'll have more time together.
