Yeah you need to write a continuation, I mean otherwise the story would be , kagome got mad at inu, went to a party, got drunk, came back to the feudal era and  hit her head and lost conciousness. Haha , I'm sure, that that can't be an end , you need a proper conclusion plus the story so far is really entertaining and has lots of potential, I already like the Kagome you describe so, at least have kags sexually harass the demon lord and have Inu come into the clearing and finding em being really friendly haha. 

I'd like to know what happens...
