That is an intense way to begin a story. Which leaves me craving to read more, but cry when I see that there are no chapters posted!

I thought Kagome was at a grocery store when you wrote "she ran down the aisles of corn"...but then realized it was a cornfield. *blushes* oops.

And yes, I did feel a shiver crawl down my spine when I read the answer to why a person would hold a knife to her throat.

"Because I love you," what a haunting word that seemed to echo in my ear.

I wonder if it is the villain or Sesshomaru. *shivers*

I hope you will continue this story! Well done! You've created a mysterious and thrilling vibe to the story!

Good build up of the intensity here.  I can tell she's trying to get away from someone, but who is it?  I'd like to see more detail into where and when this is happening to fill it out just a bit more.  Why is she running?

I'm curious as to what you're trying to accomplish and would love to see an update.
