So, I really like Condition of Desperation. Of course, being very much into literature and psychology, and being hopelessly fascinated by sex, it is difficult not to love a "sleeping beauty" story. But this is an interesting twist, as it does seem much grittier than your run of the mill refashioning and there isn't any longing between Sesshoumaru and Kagome, at least no history of buried romantic yearnings (you know how in alot of fanfic you see this whole thing where Sessh has been watching Kags from a distance for eons). There is some tension between Kagome and Inuyasha, but there is always tension between ANYONE and Inuyasha.
I like the mysterious, dream-like quality of the story, and the way you are taking your time in laying down your hand. I really, really like this. (Btw, anytime you beccome weary of my super stuffy reviews, you can tellme to quit and I could write something lighter. I tend to analyze any and everything that i see, or hear, or read. It often makes me feel very sorry for my poor wife.)
Hmm. I wonder...wonder. Oh, and you almost made my blood run cold! When Inuyasha got scared when he couldn't detect her scent. :shudders: I can imagine...you know she's there because you smell her...but... :shudders again:
