To be honest, I'm surprised you used the term "night terrors". Not many people know that term, and I'm still learning the difference between them and "nightmares" myself in Psychology. Nice job!

Wow this chapter was very deep. I felt her pain and all she had gone through. I wasn't a victim of parental abuse but spousal, so this chapter really touched my heart.

hi, just wanted to say how much i love the story (and that's saying something cuz i hardly ever review stories that are all ready finished) i really love the parts where sesshoumaru turns into a dog and when kagome told inuyasha just where he could stick that "i want them both" crap. the only problem i have with the story is sesshoumaru's dad (i can't even call that fucker by name). i hate how so many authors make seem as if its okay that he cheated on his first mate. its not, no which way you turn or what time period/society he's in. if he wanted to mate some one else so damn bad then he should have sent his first mate away. and i have just got say this because it seems like no one else notices it/wants to acknowledge it, izayoi is a WHORE. again no matter which way you turn it or what society/time period she's in, any woman would knowingly and willingly sleep with a married man is a whore and so is the guy she slept with. but other that that i love everything about the story. you're a really good writer and i was wondering if you have a sort of mailing list for updates/new stories. if so i'd love to be added, my email address is matilbanks(at)yahoo(dot)com.

I'm glad you decided not to change her appearance or abilities drastically, I like Kagome as she is, as a special, beautiful human girl. 

Nice lemon!  I still think InuYasha needs to be punished for his betrayal of Kagome, though.  If the only way he is going to suffer, is through seeing his brother with Kagome, you should write it so his suffering is less subtle.  I'm cruel like that, I want Kagome to have her vengeance on him for what he did...  Not just her own happiness...
